The gorgeous colour and ambience and the emotional weight it has on the viewers. It depicts agent K/ Joes loneliness perfectly

Aside from the absolutely amazing cinematography. It's the moment that reality sinks in. He's not important. He's not the saviour of humans or replicants. Everything he believed up until that point was something someone else needed him to believe. His love for Joi wasn't real. He saw what he wanted to see. The only power or relevance he has is as a man with a gun. And this scene is the first time he really makes a choice for himself.

Technically it depends which installment of IMAX you’re talking about, not all versions of IMAX share the same aspect ratio.
