I agree with Shannon. I’m more so surprised that the clippers are still prioritizing Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi has been the main reason this clippers era failed. The dude can’t stay healthy. I mean it’s literally like clockwork every single year. He starts the season, looks good throughout the season, then gets injured come playoff time. It never fails. And for some odd reason they gave him a contract extension to do it all over again for 3 more years. They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

Pg got outplayed by harden in the playoffs and I mean damm does kawhi look good when he plays no diddy he give you 25-30 points with 70-80% shooting he rarley has a bad game his knees are just blown cuz joe ingles n zaza, pg has a chance to show the clippers he was worth the money with kawhi out and he stunk the bed had 4 games in the first round under 20 points on 30-40% fg shooting ironically same happen to harden with sixers he at least had 2 games with 45+ in the 2nd round against the Celtics and another 3 games with 20+ he just played bad in game 6-7 and didn’t get paid n left for the clipps

@@Snipergange My point isn’t that they should’ve picked PG over kawhi. In reality, I’m surprised that they didn’t just move on from both of them. Both Kawhi and PG failed the clippers in their own way. I just think Kawhi deserves more of the blame b/c the dude was never healthy when it mattered. And the clippers just signed up for 3 more years of that. But surely it’ll be different this time, right?

What was their other options? They had the cap space and Embiid is thirty. His window is closing soon and the 2025 Free agent class is probably worse than this years in terms of players that are realistically going to be available. Makes no sense to gut your team for a trade when you have that Free agent space and PG was the best free agent available.
