no... it's not, how does that even correlate? do you know what sassy is? or what it sounds like? or in what context it's used? is English your second language? do you have some learning disability?
@landibear6509
@landibear6509 5 ай бұрын
@@kingramon437 If this person won't reply to you, I will. Do you have a learning disability? I ask because you lecture someone about their understanding of a word or context that even you won't know because you were not there either. You start sentences in your comment without capital letters, make one sentence where it really should have been two, put question marks where comma's should have been and imply that the person's understanding of the word, or misunderstanding according to you, must therefor mean that English is their second language. Is it perhaps yours? Now, read my comment again. Go over it carefully and get back to me about any grammatical errors there may be. Though you won't find any, you should know that English is not my first language either. The Oxford dictionary describes the word 'sassy' as being an adjective and defines it as meaning lively, bold, full of spirit and cheeky. I would say it was pretty bold of the customs officer to say that to him.

@@bcamplite621 Thanks. Oddly enough, the year before my last trip to the UK, I was in Australia, but the only joke about their convict past I made was when I noticed that jaywalking seemed to be a national pastime there and I slapped my forehead and declared to the people around me, “Of course you don’t obey the laws, you’re all descended from criminals!” I didn’t get any laughs, but I wasn’t attacked either. I did get a few chuckles when airport security pointed out I couldn’t take my Swiss Army knife with me and in my best Crocodile Dundee proclaimed “That’s not a knoife! “It’s more of a can opener!” They let me recall my checked baggage and I still have it to this day. Incidentally, a year later, at Buckingham Palace I almost lost it again because it has a locking blade. I didn’t know they were illegal in most places in Europe. The sergeant let me keep it on the promise that I put it in my luggage and keep it there for the rest of my trip. As a joke, I purchased some towels from the gift shop, and when I gave them to my mother, I told her I stole them from the Queen as a consequence of palace security detaining me because of my knife. She believed me, until I laughed and told her what really happened.

She pulled off one of the leads in a gripping horror/sci-fi film (A Quiet Place) very well. And then she pulled off quite a funny role in Jungle Cruise. @@faisalmemon285 Jealous, much? He has been outstanding in Jack Ryan series, and will no doubt be offered many projects in the future. He is a well-known, always working actor. Who can do comedy, drama, and action. By all metrics that count, including his marriage, he is very successful. Have a nice day.

I was in an RIT film once, and one of the actors in it said he was an extra for the Quiet Place sequel, but the scene he was in got cut - I felt bad for him, by the way - and my heart lifted when he talked about how chill and nice John Krasinski was. I really hope I get to work with him as a big character, just to spend as much time with him as possible.

@@JesseStevenTrumm3992 The Blob (1988) is significantly better than The Blob (1958) and I never saw The Thing From Another World (1951), but you'll have to let me know if it's better than John Carpenter's The Thing (1982). Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978 vs 1956) is debatable. I've heard both ways. The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934 vs 1956) seems to be pretty unanimous that the remake is better. That's actually Alfred Hitchcock remaking his own film with James Stewart. You only hear about the terrible remakes because they aren't overshadowing the originals like the good ones do! Oh ya! Also Dune! Find me someone who prefers David Lynch's version!
