This is the Bofa budget setup for Inferno. This is the lowest gear I'd recommend, although it's certainly possible to do Inferno with much more budget setups.

Amethyst darts or Dragon darts recommended.
95 range, 95 mage, 80 defence, 92 prayer recommended, higher is better.
Some downgrades:
Zaryte vambraces to Barrows gloves
Virtus Top to Ahrims top or Mystic top (Ancestral is fine ofc)
Kodai to Ancient staff or Ancient sceptre
Ring of the gods (i) to Ring of suffering (i)
5 brews as a minimum is good if you want more slots for restores or other things, adding up to 3 for a total of 8 maximum is what I recommend.
Magic legs are NOT considered valuable in any way.
Ring of the Gods (i) in combination with Devout Boots give essentially infinite prayer with minimal flicking, negating the use for any Lightbearer or Eldritch, which I consider to be heavy noob traps that only detriment first-capers. Crystal armor in general has amazing prayer bonus and range defence.
These runs have a focus on good solves, melee dig preparation, and simple prayer flicking solutions.
The plugin to hide dead NPC's and prevent misclicks is "Entity Hider", mark "Hide Dead NPC's" in the Plugin. There are not many other useful plugins for Inferno, Tile Markers can be good, but don't overuse them!
Many players have had great success in the following days trying to imitate this style and while there will always be a learning curve to the content, putting some time in to learn the likes of 1 tick alternation at the very least will add a powerful tool to help you on your road to first cape.

Got my cape 3 days ago, took me 5 days and ~19 attempts. ALL I used were the FCF videos and had WDR on my other monitor for stack solutions. These videos are so great because he teaches you so much and stays so calm, that alone is so important because he gives you confidence to keep going at it. Thank you!

Just got my infernal capes after 15 attempts. zuk and triple jads on my first attemp as well. I used to use the justiciar method for the first 12 attempts, then after seeing your video i decided to try your exact set up and within 3 attempts got to zuk and triple jads (with justi my pb was wave 63 with 0 brews). ty so much for the video

Although I've had lots of helps from my friends who kept my mental somewhat decent on the 3 week grind, your videos really helped me out on understanding it's no mammoth of a task (although it does take its toll). Used your videos, WDR Inferno stack solutions, the Inferno Trainer, and GuyLuigi's Zuk Simulator to practice. My biggest takeaway was your calmness. No reason to get worked up. +1 to FCF capes!! I just got it this past weekend and this video specifically was extremely helpful as I had max gear as well. I had around 28 attempts, and only 2 Zuks! I did lots of practice with the online Zuk sim though. Thank you for the confidence! Now its onto TOB for me. Traded in the tbow for scythe! So excited! This max infernal cape is so sexy.

I would love to see you do a run with eagle eye instead of rigour before you stop doing these FCFs. Bowfa + Ahrims set up seems very viable to get a cape before ever doing COX on irons.

Not everyone needs an inferno. Remember it's just a game and games are supposed to be fun so players do what they want. Especially mobile players. The game is fun enough as it is with a fire cape. I still boss and have mid tier gear and my DPS is still similar to people with Max gear and a inferno.

Just got 1b bank increase from dt2 bosses (4 vestiges and an axe). Would you suggest selling shadow now for tbow instead of just going with bowfa? Dabbled a bit a few months ago but I tend to lose focus after 1,5-2h of playing at 50-60 waves. Swapping to ring of gods instead of suffering seems a good idea as I tend to flick so much that I get brain fog... Edit: What I mean how much better is Tbow really at Zuk and is it really worth it considering I'd have to buy masori as well? I got 500 toa completion with the crystal + sang setup so would it be somewhat reasonable to grind inferno with that too without needing to do a lot of gear swap? Also, listened to the Sae Bae podcast on game state with you and Gnomonkey on it and I have to say your insights on the game state and the perspective of future game health were very thought out and all around coherent. I have a lot of respect for you and the hlc overall even though I disagree with some things.

Anything below 300 won't prevent you from getting a cape, anything below 150 is barely a hindrance at all - click boss no excuses! Just need to improve your timing and consistency

the same principled play appplies - the further you tend towards 1 def the more specific traps for blobs you'll need. its harder but dps remains the best option, or just learing to flick multiple npcs - but thats practice

i wouldnt - work towards bofa and better gear, it will save you time and headache going for the cape and fit nicely into your gear progression

Got my cape yesterday, thanks to this guide. It really helped building the confidence to jump in and really learn the mechanics instead of pillar hopping, feels so much better! Only thing I changed is justi helm instead of masori for extra defence, this helped saving supplies when I made mistakes during waves. And lightbearer for more blowpipe specs since I had more than enough pray bonus. I had 3 sets on zuk because tbow noodled and lightbearer saved me with extra specs since I was out after healers. Since I could also send only one run in the evening due to working full time, I brought fally shield. I restored prayer twice, and when I couldn't finish the run I had 2 extra charges for the next day in the same run. Also, I grinded zuk simulator until I was confident with timers and healer tagging. I helped me a lot. Thanks a lot for the great guides, couldn't do it without. @aatykon

Do you not recommend using Lightbearer for bp snd sgs specs? Although I know you’re not a fan of sgs or nm staff but I’m trying to get my first cape as a mobile only player so I’m not able to do some of the fancier flicking stuff. Lazy flicking and easier stuff I’m fine with

a super restore gives more prayer than sgs across the whole run without wasting precious special attack energy - taking lightbearer reduces your invent by ~4-5 restores, so you're losing ~6 restores for no reason, it's one of the biggest noob traps of all time. better to invest in 99 prayer, and fwiw i know plenty of mobile only capers who are flick-capable including 1t alternating easily, it's not a reason for not doing it, it's learnable might just take slightly longer.

Forgive me but wdym by Lightbearer reduces invent by 4-5 restores? 1tick alternating I don’t think would be hard at all for example something that would be hard on mobile is like 1ticking the quick prayers. Some of the no prayer methods for blob ficking kinda looked tricky too iirc

@@Sadboyclique rotg extends the amount of prayer a restore gives dramatically, saving you massive invent space, lightbearer has 0 prayer bonus or wrench effect, taking all that away none of my methods used in these videos require you to flick to save prayer, i might display them but don't generally use them, so you can 100% camp overheads with the setup - check the description for a bit more info

All in all your guides are by far the best and easiest to follow compared to say gnomonkey or dearlolas, no negativity towards them though 😊 my last question is do I absolutely need the south pillar or should I just restart if so much damage gets done too early?

@@Sadboyclique south is useful as cannon fodder, typically i say "let it fall by 50" which helps prevent some awkward los from the south mager and also means people aren't prone to chasing. As you get further into attempts you'll be better and better at protecting north pillar so it matters less and less as well.

isn't elidinis ward (f) better than elysian? since the defence stats are almost the same but it give extra magic accuracy and dmg and also +1 prayer

it's a good option but tank stats reign supreme, dont really need mage bonus when you're 90%+ accurate, elys passive special effect also means it excels as the best tank shield. id say it's equivilent to a crystal shield and circumstantially better, but cshield -> ely remains the simple answer

You'll be a bit tighter on prayer so some flicking necessary, otherwise no difference to these bofa runs, check description for exact gear info, range cape can be decent for that build but assembler still good
