Thank you so much. For entering Vietnam, you just need Passport, Visa & 10000 USD travel Insurance. For coming back to India, you need either Vaccination certificate or RT-PCR report & self declaration on Air-Suvidha.

Hello Sir, thankyou for the wonderful guided videos. We are planning to go to nin bihn directly from hanoi airport, stay there for 2 days and do local sightseeing, thereafter go to halong bay from nin bihn and then back to Hanoi. Can u suggest how this can be done, since none of the regular tours have this route. Also secondly pls confirm if we can do the halong bay cruise with our luggage and is it allowed?

There are 2 ways to do it- 1) If you want to save money, take a taxi to Old Quarter in Hanoi from Airport, from there you get many shared limousines to Ninh Binh, in Ninh Binh take scooty & explore. 2 days later book a taxi which can let you do Halong Bay tour & in the evening drop you to Hanoi. That way you would not have to worry for your luggage. 2) If you want convenience, take a taxi for the entire trip starting at Hanoi Airport & drop at Hanoi via Ninh Binh & Halong Bay. You can contact Mr Linh, contact in description. He is a nice person will guide you properly.

On papers, the travel insurance is mandatory. Even though no one checks it but I highly recommend it. There are no markup charges.

Great video. I'm planning on visiting Vietnam from 20th to 27th October. I've booked my one way journey and my visa. However like you pointed out I haven't received my visa yet even though it has been more than 3 days. That's why I'm wary of booking my return journey ticket. Haven't been able to book hotels either. You need to check online whether web check-in is available or not in my case it was not. Seat number will only be assigned if you pre-book it.

Hi our flight is on Dec 20th from India to Hanoi via Vietjet airlines. We have a transit at Ho Chi Minh. Now we just want to know where would be the immigration will it be on Ho Chi Minh during transit or it will be on Hanoi. P.S: We have given the entry port as Hanoi Airport in our Visa.

There are withdrawal charges which gets reversed in almost 70% of the cases & yes there are withdrawal limits.

The e-visa is prepaid, no need to pay at the airport. This used to be case with VOA that is now gone I guess.

Better to have rtpcr. Travel insurance is cheap. Should be minimum covering 10k usd. Buy on policy bazar. Will cost around 200-300 for person less than 60

Great Video :) I am travelling to Vietnam via Viet Jet. Did you book extra baggage through the site or on their counter at the airport. I tried via website but payment is failing

Thank you. Did you book your ticket on Vietjet or some other website? On the counter the prices are more than double. Always pre-book online, I used SBI card on Vietjet's website.

Hi All the forex cards work in all the ATMs, I use Niyo Global since it does not apply any forex Mark-up charges & withdrawal charges are also free for first transaction.

Hey, Thanks for informative video. I am travelling Vietnam in February and I am very much confused whether to convert INR to USD and then convert it to VND or completely rely on Niyo Global card. Could you please guide me how to manage cash? Also, is it feasible to use other credit cards (ICICI or CITI) for transactions?

I would say never for credit card as it attracts 4% of markup(GST included). Niyo is the best bet. carry 100-200 USD for back-up.

Carry some USD as backup, Niyo usually works. My experience in the Airport was not great but otherwise it worked fine. Don't exchange currency in the airport, do it in the city from some jewellery stores, they give the best rates.

Hi I totally rely on NiYo/Debit cards for my cash needs abroad. All I can say that based on my experience you get best forex rates at Jewellery shops.
