My tree stays up all year round...inspiration for creating Christmas cards whenever the spirit moves me. This has been a wonderful video...so packed with valuable information and instruction. I've just finished a 50th anniversary card featuring dimensional hydrangea flowers and roses...my work table is a deep mess but the card is beautiful! I'm going to give your paper towel flowers a try...nice dimension. I recently switched to a detail tip mini hot glue gun...easier to use for creating flowers...a wonderful tool. Looking forward to seeing the baby card scheduled for tomorrow. I'm watching in Washington State, USA...modern technology is amazing!

❤Loving all your flowe tutorials and never too long for me. Also thanks so much for including centimeters in your measurements. So many times I have been disappointed in beautiful complicated cards I would love to make but my cutting boards and scoring tools are all in centimetres as that's what we use in Australia. Just a note: for the few who think the videos are a bit long, there are two solutions. 1) Move the red dot on the video progression bar to the next step. 2)Click on "Settings" cog and increase the playback speed; I find that Marta is quite clear and understandable (in English) even at the highest speed. There's always a way. 🥰

Hi Marta. Well this was such a surprise video! I was not expecting another video until the morning. I had such a busy day and then class at night. I was settling down with a cup of tea...and there you were with a new video! Loving these flowers. I am waiting for my stamens to come in the mail since I tried to make them with paper and I stink at it. Hi Norma, how are you? Awww 2 years old 🥰 that’s the best age. I know my son when he was to he was 2 he was so cute, curious and fun and he still is. But then he just loved to do everything same as I was doing. We did lots of crafts together when he was 2-4… now he is over 6 and he is all about playing football with daddy and says crafting is to girly🙈 I miss that our time but I’m happy that he is growing and discovering his own passions and hobbies. Marta your flowers are beautiful! You inspired me to try them. They came out so cute. I used the 3 layers of paper towel. When I die cut them, some of them separated on the leaves which was fine. I used 3 layers and they looked great. The separation made them fluff out and look even fuller. I am so excited to try them with different dies and in so many colors! I make birthday and holiday cards mostly--and half of them are masculine or for kids. Since covid, though, it seems I do a LOT more cards to encourage and say get well--which your cards adapt easily to. The paper towel flowers are awesome! I save the thicker and smoother (more luxury) paper towels and napkins for this--and take a few extra from my favorite restaurant. They only need one layer and make gorgeous leaves for magnolia and thicker leafed flowers. I enjoyed today!!!

I'm in the UK and our weather has been awful this year - mostly rain!! I have M.E and it means I can't get out very often. I love in a block of flats and there is no garden. My sister takes me out now and again in her car, which is great.

Oh, I’m so sorry to hear about your condition Valerie. It is so nice that you have a sister who can look after you and take you for a walk and you can spend some time in her garden. I love sitting outside. I think being out in a nature, it’s instantly boosting my mood And yes I know that weather really well. I was living in Scotland for nearly 15 years and most of the summers were usually rainy. I clean up when I am using ink with baby wipes, sometimes you get a brilliant mix of colours. Sometimes I let them dry out and use them to die cut flowers like you have done with the kitchen towel.

Hi Marta. This is amazing! Who would think you can make such beautiful flowers out of kitchen towel! Sometimes I need a quick flower and I don't have any that are the right colour. Marta, you are so sweet. I enjoy your videos as I want to start attempting to make more realistic flowers. I’ve done several simple ones, but want more realistic so I can do nicer wedding, anniversary, and birthday cards. Can I ask how you determine your pricing on cards that are more detailed? Have you ever done a video on that? I’m from the USA, so I know we have the type of currency as an issue, but I can’t always use an online converter. I know it well I’m on this crazy cycle for most of my life. I love starting new things but as soon as I get a little bit bored, I am struggling to finish it. Thanks God for some deadlines!! sometimes it’s the only one thing which motivates me, I’m usually procrastinating or getting myself involved in other exciting things until the very last minute and then I am just pulling up all my force to complete the work and submit it 5 minutes before the deadline🙈🤣🤣🤣 oh no hope for me 😅

Viva does not have texture and is slightly thicker. I would think very lightly misting before cutting would help bind the towel layers. And markers blend of damp also. Water for water based alcohol for permanent markers.

Thank you so much Tiffiny yes you should definitely tried them, I'm sure you will love it. As per my accent, I'm Polish, who spent almost 15 years in Northern Scotland. I also learned mysefl listening London Native speakrs and watching American Tv drama... so a little bit of everything, that is why I may sound funny. Thank you so much for watching my videos. Thank you so much, Heather. I really appreciate your opinion and thank you so much for sharing it with me. Not all of my videos are so long. I’m still publishing my normal videos as well but at my current setting when my son is on summer holiday from school I have way less time to record and it’s easier for me to record a longer video as I don’t have to edit it then. To make a 15-20 minutes long video I still have to use the same time to make a card and record it on the video but then I need to add additional 2-3 hours to edit it and then finally record the voice over for the new shorter version. So what you see as 20 minutes video is an effort of few hours work when real time video only requires me to basically upload it. So for that I am keeping a mixture because with my son at home I don’t have the same amount of time, plus many of my friends actually say they enjoy longer format as it is easier to craft along. I want to have my videos enjoyable for all my crafty friends and will try to post shorter one as well. However if you like my videos to be quicker you can actually boost a speed a little bit that way they will become shorter. Once again thank you for watching and I wish you a fabulous day ❤️
