One of my mom's old friends used to buy the canned dog and cat food that looks kinda like stew and other stuff bc he thought it was for people. My mom is from europe and didn't know english when she came to canada, and naturally her family and friends didn't either. He only found out later on that the food he had been buying cheap was pet food because when my mom and dad went to visit, that's what he served to them. He was the sweetest guy, and we all miss him, he died of a stroke when I was still little.
