You NEED This BEFORE You Fly to Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴 ( Get It FAST and in ENGLISH )

I bet you had no idea that you needed this either! You probably went to the airport, checked in like me, and then were like huh? Well in this video I'll show you how to quickly get your E-ticket set up for entry into the Dominican Republic, so we can get you out of the airport and on vacation!
Step 1 - Go to eticket.migracion.gob.do/ and choose the correct language in the top right corner.
Step 2 - Fill out all of the information until you get assigned a QR Code.
Step 3 - SCREENSHOT your QR Code Page so that you have it for departure as well!
This will be your number for entry AND exit for Dominican Republic!!!!!! That's why I say Screenshot it so you don't lose it!
They will ask you for your boarding pass, passport, and E-ticket. They will scan your QR Code and double check that it matches your paperwork and then you are good to go.

Yep everyone has to do it to get into the Dominican Republic.. it's really quick but as I emphasized in the video just screenshot to have it easily (its not the most advanced tech)

Hi! I’ll be visiting punta cana next week and my passport is expiring in August this year. Can I visit with less than 6 months left passport?? Please help!!

Oh that's tough! You have to have 6 months left on your passport is generally the rule.. I would call the US embassy and check with them. Maybe you can file to renew and bring proof you have made an effort to renew.

How to determine embarkation port and disembarkation port? MEM to EWR to PUJ? PUJ to ORD to MEM?

Think of it as boarding and unboarding so embarkation is "where did you board a plane to come to DR" and disembarkation is "where are you leaving punta cana to land "

i think that question is more for families so they only have to fill out one form kind of thing.. but up to u if you really.. i dont remember them asking me about it when i landed

Hm check if you have your pop ups blocked.. it does have the number pop up on a new page (at least it did for me)

also on the page it says "keep the page open until til the ticket pops up" so it does take some time to calculate

Is the eTicket separate from the forms that get passed out on the plane to fill out? I read something about filling out a customs/immigration form on the plane. Wondering if eTicket is different than this? Thank you for your videos! They’ve been a life saver for a first time international traveler.

Yes E Ticket is different you have to do it online before u go.. just make sure u screen shot it so u don't forget your number 😉 Customs and Immigration have different paperwork that they generally give u on the plane.. think of it more for like they want to know if you are carrying a suitcase full of things to sell there.. like its more for taxes purposes they don't care about souveniers etc.. so just let them know the basics

Do you use the same E ticket to get in and out? Or do you need to do it twice?

@@doodles3075 I had 2-one for entry and one for exit! When you fill out the form online it will ask you if you want to do both entry/exit.

@chasitymatteson1371 you also have to pay $20 somewhere. Can you remember when and with what we hand that over? I've asked others who say you don't and another video with a sign in saying you do? We went years ago but it looks like there's been a lot of change

You need the number for arrival and departure so what I did was screenshot it when I got it and they scanned that when I left also 👍

It’s not letting me enter the date of birth (day).. it’ll let me enter year and month.. but not the day.. any ideas?

hm im sorry im not sure but the people at the airport are really helpful and can probably easily help once u are there.. u just have to do it before u go thru security so they will help walk u thru step by step

Try using a different web browser. The same happened to me, and I switched to Google Chrome, and it went through.
