I learned this exact recipe from an old Irish lady, who learned it from her Italian mother-in-law! Have been making it for years and never had anyone not love it! Will have to try it in the ciabatta cradle!

I have to try this!!! I love the bread pocket idea!!! My meatballs are similar but I use veal, pork, lamb, and Italian sausage. I also love stuffing mine with mozzarella pearls for a fun surprise on the inside. Other than that the same recipe!

We call them meatball bombers where I’m from. I like to pick some up for lunch from the local Italian deli. They use bread made from a local Italian bakery for they’re subs. Always a great video ❤️

Looks awesome and it must taste amazing but, Idk... It's way too labour intensive and complex to be a McDonald's dish and I suspect it will be wasteful too (I don't see any McDonald's holding onto the white part of the bread to make breadcrumbs). As for the parmigiano (a not so cheap or readily available product outside of Italy or the EU), how much do you bet it will end up being Grana Padano or worse.... generic Kraft parmesan cheese?? 😔
