As a NMS player that got all three xp bosses and all three S1 collection bosses. It’s so disappointing that most of the cards I earned will now be useless not sure if I will still play anymore. Especially with college football 25 around the corner

I remember a time mw2 OG one. When you prestiged, all your progress reset. I noticed a lot of people didn’t do it because they didn’t want to lose all the best guns they had. I was different to this, I liked the refreshing new start. Plus I liked a lot of the beginner guns. I’m hoping this new season have that vibe

Found a second screw up in TA. Go into AL West, Single Player Missions. Scroll down to "K's W/S2 ALW Players in Play VS. CPU". its text on the right side of the screen says "Repeatable: Tally 25 Hits with". They really weren't paying attention this season. First JP Crawfords Moment and now this.

You start with 0 wild cards, getting all the head start missions done gets you to your first slot. It says so on the blog. "You can earn and unlock three Wild Card slots from the Season 2 XP reward path starting June 7. Stay tuned for how to earn the fourth Wild Card slot. We are creating a quick start in Season 2 so you can earn your first Wild Card slot on the first day of Season 2!"

This is how I understood it too. You don't get an automatic wildcard at the start of the season. They have to be earned. The blog says that the head start tasks will get you your first wild card I guess we will see as I did not do the egg hunt program and am assuming I will have no wild card by default

@@JayIsABravesFan it’s per early start mission so like the egg hunt will give xp, 250 cards will give xp, no bonuses for the whole set as far as we can tell but who knows.

@@JayIsABravesFan From what I can tell the first XP slot is gained at (__) amount of XP, for some reason I was thinking it was 10K or 20K, IDK if I read that or just making it up....but that each of those 5 objectives will give you some XP, presumably a fifth of what you need to get the first slot. So if it's 10K, you get 2K per objective met, and if you only do 4, you get 8K, and just have to play to get the remaining 2K of XP....or if you don't complete any of the objectives, you just need to play to get the 10K (or whatever the gate is) to get the wild card slot opened. The notes say clearly that completing the Head Start objectives gets you YOUR FIRST WILD CARD SLOT and that you can earn up to 3 in the XP Reward Path, and to STAY TUNED FOR HOW TO GAIN THE 4TH SLOT OPENED. I just wish Gomes would read his comments. So frustrating.

This is my first year seriously trying DD. I have been playing for just over a month and not currently online. I'm really confused on what I will be able to do since 70 cards away from CC and 3 missions away from Egg Hunt. Can I start a Reds theme team in mini seasons with Season 1 cards after Friday? Or do I need to start it now and eliminate current min season?

I think it depends on the mini seasons mode you are playing. But I am pretty confident that in at least one of them that you will be able to use your team. Don't delete your current mini season.

Btw if anyone doesn’t have the Easter eggs that require online play they’re basically giving the Wade Boggs one away. I didn’t have him in my team, never drafted him (didn’t even see him) didn’t get on base with him obviously and still got the egg. You can also do the two doubles one on moonshot. It’s super easy.

I’ve competed the reward path and done a few spins. I’d tell people doing the conquests and programs / mini seasons on double xp weekends has to be your strategy for this season. If that means bailing on your girl for a Saturday and playing a few hours lol do it

If you read the release notes for Season 2, it says that completing the HEAD START objectives will "give you your first Wild Card slot for free" with the ability to get a total of 3 through the XP Reward path, and to STAY TUNED FOR HOW TO GAIN THE FOURTH SLOT.....so the assumption should be that you don't get the first wildcard until you do the Head Start objectives OR get to the XP requirement for that slot.....I DO NOT THINK YOU AUTOMATICALLY GET ONE TO START....unless there's something somewhere that says that....I have still yet to see anywhere that says that except your videos...which I think may be taking assumptions from just that image of the 4 slots with one open. I really hope you read this and address this, because it seems like you're promoting something that hasn't been stated by SDS. Thanks!

You keep saying that completing the head start program will get you another wildcard spot giving you 2 to start Season 2. However, the blog specifically says that the Head Start will get you to your FIRST wild card slot. My guess is you won’t get that second WC spot until S2Ch2…then the other 2 WC spots in S2Ch3.

No, WCs are laid out in the XP path. Everybody begins Season 2 with One wildcard automatically even at 0 XP. Completing all 5 Head Start goals will earn you enough XP to unlock your first (of three) additional WC slots in the path, netting you at 2 right away for Friday

Ppl be ruining the game by complaining about xp and shit , but then have the audacity to say “I don’t like playing mini seasons , br or conquest “ well then THATS A YOU PROBLEM , not the game , u can’t just sit on ranked all the time or obviously ur not gonna get enough xp , br , conquest and mini seasons single handedly has 6-900k IN GAME xp not GAMEPLAY

I didn’t sell any cards and just tried to focus on season 1 collections for Willie mays. Not even gonna get Willie and just collected them cards for nothing. Would’ve rather sold any sellable cards and tried harder for core collections

They should've stuck with last years method. Season 1 and 2 together, etc. Or at least combine chapters across each season. Otherwise, wtf am i grinding for?!? By the time I grind a season, chapter by chapter, all of the cards will be worthless.

it seems to me that SDS needs to rework this whole season thing. Instead of making the cards from season 1 unusable in certain modes they should nerf them instead. They could do something like all 99's from season 1 become 93's, 98's become 92's and so on.
