Just to make a quick recap of why I'm completely unable to see this whole update as a positive change (keeping all factors in mind); -The most expensive Drive Syndicate of Asphalt 9's history -Multplayer changes that will punish you if, because of your real life duties, you can't continuously play the game -The two best cars of the game nerfed (yes, both are nerfs and time will prove my point) just to make space for a new 'king' (the Absolut) which otherwise it would have been too weak in comparison to even the Venom F5. -The fact that a new trend of nerfing and 'improving' (ahem) cars through the upcoming updates has just been announced, literally starting the same path of nonsensical nerfs and buffs that Asphalt 8 experienced before it's virtual demise (A8 is nowadays a shadow of what it used to). Guys, I love this damn game and I don't want it to end like Asphalt 8, but the fact that Gameloft is starting to ruin it is driving me insane, I swear. It's frustrating to see this, hence why, if what I see after this update doesn't convince me, Gameloft will win: I will leave this game and I will likely stop creating content. This is just sad.

Gameloft should think about getting into the dairy business seeing how good they're with milking the player base.

Well it’s hard for me to have an opinion about this update, but I always loved the Asphalt Games, so I hope after updating I will still like the Asphalt 9 - ALU gameplay. Their is good points like the garage review and tracks readjustments that were essential because a simple white background wasn’t looking very nice at all. Can’t wait to see what they prepared for the community !🏎️

I hope none of your concerns become true because not only me but a good amount of players have invested good amount of hours into this game and it pains to see it all wash away

i have some mixed emotions about this update. I can finally gold my viper, somewhat play the se of bailey gt1, and get free rewards. The downside for me is once again the drive syndicate. I can feel that I will only get the Porsche Mission R just by looking at the requirements...

A Showroom for Vanda ? Finally, finally I have a chance to get my hand on one of the car I hate and need most. With Vanda, my Platinum journey to Legend will be much easier. And at this time, at all cost, I will try my best to save my credits for the rerun of Ultima RS. I have Ultima RS at 6* and having all EIPs now, the only thing I miss is the credits

As soon as saw Mazda Furai in Car hunts, i couldn't help but laugh and also get sad because i have that car max golden at this point, while some players might get it through the car hunt, i'd advise players to get its blueprints from legends store instead and buy them in bulk if you have credits. I really wanted Gameloft to add cars like Corvette ZR1 in the showroom because those cars are literally the unicorns of the game and only a handful of people in a region may have it maxxed in their garage.

Asphalt Legends Unite may be a new update but it honestly seems so nostalgic. The car selection looks like the 2018 Asphalt 9 car selection , the new Singapore map looks like it came straight out of Asphalt 6/7 and the ranked-based matchmaking is like the pre-2018 Asphalt 8 multiplayer system. Overall Gameloft really outdid themselves with this one. Unfathomably rare Gameloft W!

At least they will FINALLY update those freaking garage levels (stuck at 18 for years).

Nerfing Venom F5??? This concept is ridiculous that people put real money into some virtual cars and at any given moment that company #Gameloft can downgrade specs of the car people paid for. Is this GL going also to return money to these players????

The way things are heading with gameloft looks really scary. The way gameloft is able to change things negativly for the player base, without much consequences is worrying. They achieve it by slowly trickling nerfs, paywalls, reduced rewards, and devalueing is like a drip at a hospital. Its slow, and short term it might not seem bad, now imagine the drip isnt water, rather poison. The patient short term wont feel/react much to the changes in its body as its slow and gradual, but over time, the changes are huge, if gameloft continues these random nonsensical changes, the drip will continue to drip, and the patient (here the player base) will die. ITs a weird metaphor i know, but sometimes its important to view things differently. Gameloft is destroying the game, increasing P2W events, and having F2P events vanish/or decrese. BOS, being one of the only ways to get high end S class cars, is now absolutely terrifyingly bad, and there now is no way of getting any high end S class cars (the F2P way). All while syndicates are all the more expensive, unaccessable to F2P players, and is unacomplishable wihout spending any sort of real money. All for what? You buy the syndicate car, just for it to be nerfed in the future, despite paying up front. If they continue like this, player base will quickly decrease, while anger will increase. People will rebel, people will quit, people will stop playing, and gameloft doesnt seem to see this. It is not sustainable for the game, stability of the player base, and long term income, its a loose loose situation, and gameloft doestn see that, and its catastrophic for any future the game would have been able to offer. Gameloft needs to change. NOW. If they want any chance in keeping the game alive along with the player base. CHANGE is what we need. And we need it quickly.

I don't see the purpose of nerfing the Venom because it doesn't seem to be a competitor of the Absolut, I'm not affected by the Devel nerf because it is only made for controller which I don't have but why did they have to do that to Venom? Absolut would most likely drift at Venom's top speed so I don't think even a normal Venom could compete with the Absolut. And with Devel I thought they are removing the turtle accel in air but they are straight up ruining it, wow. I'm happy cuz I never had high hopes with this update. The Genty starway is good, just the cars are hard to obtain this time, the main barrier is the Superleggera. The only thing I care about is private lobbies and the graphics "Overhawl".

I dont think you'll need *4 essenza to complete that stage since in DS8, reventon requires *3 only. Unless there's a change

The Devel having its physics 'fixed' could be a buff OR a nerf, esp the speed loss upon ramps or gaining speed while drifting. It wouldn't make sense for this car to gain speed while drifting cuz it's defeats physics as a whole but I hope it is the drifting speed getting fixed. Also, the nerf to the Venom was somewhat debatable🗿. Also, no buffs to any cars?

My excitement died with the release of patch notes 😂😂. Changes are either bad or meaningless. Apart from slight graphics improvement there's nothing to look forward to.

I hate how money greedy Gameloft is. This doesnt stregthen the community, it breaks it apart. I dont always enjoy playing grindy events. I want to enjoy the games I play. Otherwise, what's the point!

Only 5 days for the beginning of the next chapter of the game. Most of the SE in the update are okay, and mostly pay 2 win. I did saw some the garage level cars, and I was a bit expecting to see the other useless class S cars to be obtained from the levels, since some are okay for MP and of course, placed in a difficult SE. Looking at the Venom F5 reducing the nitro efficiency, does have to really make me decide on when to use nitro, we’ll even though I am somewhat okay with it. Car hunts can be maxed out and gain extra factory imports, so I ‘m worried about that. I’m looking forward to the match making but I don’t really understand the situation on the MP seasons. I was hoping for diamond league to be added and place some of the best cars in class R/X with a league based on those cars. Maybe next year, since the devs will be looking into that, so I hope another MP suggestion channel will open up for a fair and balanced matchmaking.

It might be going to Asphalt 8's path, we have to wait and see.

I think you increasing disinterest with the game could possibly stem from diminishing returns. 🤔 It's like trying to give Superman the perfect gift; What do you give to someone who already has (almost) everything? 🤷 However, for those of us barely scrapping by (F2P) all these new changes easily seem like a godsend to improve our garage. The update that should’ve been one of the best since this game existed have been killed by GL for sure. Only good points are new garage levels and cross platform, but hell we were waiting for that since so long that it doesn’t erase this sht update and the fact they killed F5..

Well yes you were right BOS or even BOS`s are really bad, I remember like 4 or 5 updates ago GL said that they want to cancel Syndicate idea and create smth new. In my opinion GL create this "BIG" update / "new game" because all competitors create a NEW GAME actually - NFS, Racing masters etc but it looks quite poor especially cause competitors create an open world...

Asphalt 9 is moving to vulkan API. This is the best update nobody is talking about. Game should be much smoother now and even 120 fps is possible on higher end phones.

And I thought you had really cool summer. It's kinda sad that ALU had a lot of good content when in reality, it's really expensive, and it's not like DS9 will be the same as $1K. Also I'm here for the Bailey Blade GT1 Rerun since it's easier for me to progress there, except I don't have the Ford Shelby GR-1 due to only one blueprint for every amount of trade coins. Devel 16 would only be doing an adjust, a balance like they would patch out the airspeed loss, and nerfing the gasless drifting. I don't about this but it looks exciting if it wasn't for almost the content to be a mixed bag of good or worthlessness. Either way, I'm just fine with the returning cars in the new garage levels, and I can't to wait to fully gold max almost some of them. Let it be known that even though this may be a bad change, atleast I still enjoy content at the end, so hopefully there's some light to brighten up the mood when ALU would still have something good to keep up new content. If you're gone, atleast your videos are enjoyable, so for now, it will still be fine before anything bad happens.
