Just keep playing and learning as you go. Solo play is all about your enjoyment and not necessarily doing things "right" the first time.

Played DND since 77, but Dragonbane makes fantasy roleplaying more fun for me, feels like old school again.

I so badly want to play this solo, but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on the Box Set yet. Still working through Five Leagues from the Borderlands, though.

I don’t think I’ve heard of Five Leagues 🤔. I’ll will have to check it out. The box set is very cool and you can easily use the content in other systems/games. I’m really enjoying it solo and looking forward to running it. You should definitely grab the box set when you can.

@@LegendsDiceCafe Its a solo/coop sandbox game but it's played with miniatures during combat. It's really the best of both skirmish games and solo rpgs in my opinion.

Dragonbane is probably my favorite fantasy game atm. Not a huge D&D fan, but this hits a lot of the feel without the things i don't like, lol

I agree. I’m really liking the system so far. I was going to attempt to run a DnD pre-written module and just use Dragonbane for character creation and rule system.

@@LegendsDiceCafe You know what game really broke my perspective of what RPGs can be? Grok?! I actually made a video review about it, if you're interested. It actually was my last video, if I'm not mistaken. Things just got complicated lol. Anyway, the PDF for Grok?! Is $1. You should check it out if only for the experience. I'm telling you, it really changed the way I approach games. And if you are thinking about maybe making your own system, which I think I heard you say once then you DEFINITELY should check it out.

Dragonbanes roll under is sooo good for solo. There is no setting of DCs from a GM perspective so it’s just continuously fun.

Thank you so much. I did draw the map. I’m practicing and learning how to draw maps. Thank you ☺️. I was thinking using this idea, the way they put the solo adventure together and creating my own. So far I’m really enjoying Dragonbane. I’ve only ran a campaign online so I was hoping I may be able to find a group to run a Dragonbane campaign in person, if not then online is cool 😎 too.
