I wish that Magmortar has the Regional Variant(s’) Forms, a 2nd Elemental-Type portion, get strongest quality of life buff resources (better abilities, new moves and the strongest stats including Speed) and then finally shine as an actual competitive Pokémon unit

I still think the Magmortar is pretty damm useless, and still think it does hardly any work. But I am also a noob. But I have to mention that while you mentioned the whole "magmortar could have taken out their entire team", that did have to include quite a few misplays on the opponents part. The will-o-wisp fails, the hard switch into magmortar fire blast with magnezone, and ignoring the dragonpult. Plus I am pretty sure they hadn't used their terra in that game as well. I am still not convinced about Magmortar's worth.
