I run basically the same thing and I love it. Only difference is swapping out riposte for evade. Since I’m using the rapier mostly for mobility/sustain/survivability, I think it’s more useful than evade. Also… pairing it with scorpion sting jav can be solid for the pesky runners.

Yup that would certainly work! I am not the biggest fan after the scorpion changes though makes it very punishing to miss one

Yeah Ahnk before all the nerfs on that build was absolutely disgusting haha I would queue arena and purposely let the team die so I could score 3v1's (sorry not sorry)

Yeah I think he uses the classic flourish and finish rapier set up on his though, probably with finisher too I imagine

@@ArtfulDoge exactly yes. Thats what Im using too since I never played with rapier before therefore never touched flurry. Will give it a shot though before investing in a flourry rapier

Even tho I understand why most comfort players and war sweats go medium BUT 100str 100 con 50 int rest in dex as light is way more fun

@@syvanas anything light is always going to be infinitely more fun than otherwise, mobility in games is the most fun way to play always period

@@ArtfulDoge true but...... shirking heals seems to do better in medium due to the shorter dodge distance which seemingly procs it more often as sometimes in light I outdodge the attack and don't get the proc.

Beyond my light void assassin build there's not really a way to like one shot heavy players unless you play bleed rapier which is the easiest thing to counter ever, you just have to be patient and abuse your movement over there's and get them wasting CD's

The only thing i can't get used to is medium dodge. I miss light roll when i play medium and i end up using too much stam trying to roll. Do you need a different mind set as medium compared to light? I honestly have been light since beta

Light is goated and if I am honest I am only medium on this build because I war on it! I have always played a lot of medium and light so I guess I am more used to it, but once you got it down it flows really well with spear CD's and proc'ing shirking heals and tumblers

I was running this in light with featherweight before switching to medium, I only run medium because I war in this build too - if I run light I am running sweep instead of perforate too!

Playing exactly the same build since a few days, it’s so much fun 😅 but i am curious, why not going for 350 dex? Higher crit chance for all the spear perks :)

With crit already just being really high I would rather get the extra damage out of rapier and the modifiers that don't count towards the empower cap 🤙🏼

Yeah finisher is great on it, I just find flourish and finish to be kinda underwhelming on that build that's all

I used to run scorpion back in the day, jav straight into a flurry was strong af, might give it a wee go on this build, but I don't want it to become to centralised around one combo you know

I tried it by myself, I felt like I had to drop an important ability (cyclone = stamina + healing + damage; perforate= sustain + damage; skewer: weaken on enemy + empower) and you can’t play the rapier artifact anymore :(

nature gems in both in nature runeglass, I'm stacking nature dmg in this build, and fun fact the spit heartrune scales with the nature dmg too!

What 3 gems do you use on jewelry

Runeglass with +2% dmg of whatever ele gems you rock, and then the actual gems themselves depends on your server, I run ele, fire, slash and thrust prot Wait I can't read, but whatever you need for your server, I am rocking thrust and ele resist

Attunement, Pen backstab & Plaguecrits (or you can swap Plaguecrits for keenly jagged if you ever feel like running finisher with it)

If you mean the skill tree it's in the video, perks wise you can run enfeebling skewer (not on weapon), leeching cyclone and fortifying perforate, but I haven't run that myself yet because sometimes I switch perforate out for sweep

@@ArtfulDoge i mean perks for spear, i got back stap already with shirking naturę and plaq crts, im thinking to play for sweep on wepoan for bleeding build but im not sure itd worth. I thnik all perks skill are for armor.. Maybe perfirate is for welon

@@Dedal123456 if you want max damage, don't run a weapon perk on it, I'd go pen backstab, attunement and Plaguecrits, or swap out Plaguecrits for keenly jagged if you wanna run the finisher rapier sometimes too

In the war scene its still very much a heavy meta sadly, so I can get by in medium, otherwise I'd be running this in light with featherweight for sure!
