Use clarifying shampoos and gently wash your scalp. Make sure you’re doing a good prep before doing your braids

Do a treatment to stop the breakage before doing your braid. I do a heavy protein treatment with Aphogee 2 step treatment and I do a deep conditioning treatment. I also keep up with my vitamin C and multivitamin supplement to make sure I’m not deficient in any vitamin. A lot of things can cause breakage and it could be an internal issue.
