You should try UI info suite 2! It shows NPCs on maps, which animals haven't been pet/milked/shorn, how long processing machines have left and what they're processing (like "starfruit wine, 13 hours left"), the price of items when you hover over them in your inventory, whether it's someone's birthday, how long until Clint is done upgrading your tool, and so much more. Best quality of life improvements all in one mod.

fun fact about automate: its adjacent tile range is HUGE. you only really need one chest and can keep multiple machines running off content from the same chest (i have my kegs stacked in groups of 22 to one chest) - excellent space economy.

it's so big that it's OP really. My last map I had the quarry completely full of kegs, 2 cells without them. The one you spawn on from the cart and the one in front of that for the chest. That one chest was connected to ~400 kegs. As long as machines are touching, it counts as in range I've also seen on a YT vid someone put pathing through the town to all the garbage cans and connected them all to one chest. the whole town to 1

It's worth mentioning that Adventurer's Guild Expanded has 2 different questlines. You can choose only one. The friendly monster that lives on your farm is available in ONLY one of the questlines.

A few mods I would had to the must have list are: Juliet and Jessie the Jojo Clerks (they go near seamlessly with SVE ), Alecto the Witch (it does have a few hang-ups but is still solid for re-plays), Lunna - Astray in Stardew... (she is just so adorable), Grapes of Ferngil (a must have for me), Industrialization Redux, along with any mods from Ella series (the creator is junimods). All of these can be checked out on Nexus Mods, btw. I understand we are getting a whole new batch of players maybe from mobile who haven't gotten to go down the mod path yet as well as players who are just getting acquainted with modding. Just be patient with the mod creators as they work out any bugs, when in doubt with your SMAPI log (the main program that you will use to load all these new mods) look for the red text (a lot of times you will find that you didn't download the required mods that help your newest one run), and especially since the 1.6.n drop, delete the old mod before you download the newest iteration of any mods you are playing with. I hope this doesn't seem overwhelming, lol; you can have such a blast with Stardew and these new mods. Go and have some fun, farmer(s)!

Thanks for the additional help! Stardew Valley and Baldur’s Gate 3 are the only games I can mod and it gets really intimidating to look for more.

I can recommend East Scarp, Downtown Zuzu and Ridgeside Village - all compatible with SVE. They each add a ton of new content, new npc's (some of which you can pick or not and they all come with personal quests and huge stories). All that combined makes Stardew Valley a massive game that never gets boring. So, if you, like me, had umpteenth playthrough's of Stardew Valley already, give those a shot.

I absolutely love Ridgeside Village, and still hold it as my favorite expansion mod to date. East Scarp, while I can see the immense amount of work that has gone into it, still feels like an incomplete mod - a work in progress of sorts. And sometimes the lore of East Scarp just doesn’t seem to fit the Stardew Valley universe. I enjoy the lovely map locations though, especially the part that gives you basically another entire farm!

Yees, great list! I enjoy most of these! I haven't gotten on the automate train yet, but I've definitely eye'd it for some of my end game saves that get a little tedious after a while. I also have to recommend East Scarp. While the base mod of East Scarp adds an extra area, it is the mods you can download to add to it as you'd like...my absolute new favorite of all time "Lurking in the Dark - NPC Sen." If you love Krobus, you MUST bring this NPC into your next playthrough. He is ADORABLE. I mean I cannot imagine Stardew without him now!!

One possible replacement for Automate in the future: Junimatic. It adds quests to get the Junimo's help running all your machines, it's early in development and a bit buggy but it's so cute and immersive.

my fave mods are all silly. adding red pandas to the game, cows making chocolate milk, pamtrailer. i love maru's new look lately (a maru portrait mod with seasonal outfits that keeps her curly hair) and junimo digspot. junimo digspot hasnt been updated in ages tho.

You can buy the tea set from the traveling cart as well now, for the cheap price of 1m gold and it only starts appearing after year 25!

The tractor can do more than just harvest. You can use weapons with it as well. It also has a summon key to summon it anywhere if you wish.

there is a new expansion mod called "Lumisteria Visit Mount Vapius" only played a little but so far really liking it. adds a challenge while also having its own charm.

Couple more suggestions: Schedule Viewer. Lists each NPC's current location in a table (in case you have trouble spotting them on the map), and also where they'll go later in the day (in case you plan to go see them later). Clear Glasses, the successor to Spritemaster. Auto-smooths all the graphics (by default), may reduce lag (by caching graphics), and has some other bells and whistles that I haven't tried.

I run with UIInfoSuite2 for npc locations on the map, processing machine times and products, as well as daily luck et cetera. Running Late to see in-game time by the minute and also 24-hour clock. For easier visibility: Crop Harvest Bubbles (Updated), Crop Watering Bubbles Continued, Bright and Fun Artifact and Dig Spots for Content Patcher. For prettier visuals: The Mane Event. because the horse was the only part of SDV that bothered me 😂

My absolute favourite mod that I have no idea how I will function without when the ps update comes out is the Info Ui Suite mod. Would recommend for everyone who uses mods to download it as it’s just so helpful. (Display an icon that represents the current days luck Display experience point gains Display a dynamic experience bar that changes based on your current tool or location Display more accurate heart levels Display more information on item mouse overs, including items that are still needed for bundles View calendar and quest billboard anywhere Display icons over animals that need petting Display crop type and days until harvest on mouseover Display icon when animal has item yield (milk, wool) Sprinkler, scarecrow, beehive and junimo hut ranges Display npc locations on map Skip the intro by pressing the Escape key Display an icon for Queen of Sauce when she is airing a recipe you don't already know Display an icon when Clint is upgrading one of your tools. Icon will tell you how long until the tool is finished and shows you which tool you are upgrading.) but make sure to download it from github so it’s compatible with 1.6

I use a lot of these and also the one that adds truffles to auto grabbers and walking through trellises. There were 2 new mods for this in 1.6 as the older versions weren’t being updated. (Not sure if these were mentioned as I haven’t finished the video).

If you don't like combat and just want to pick up monster items but ALSO want the caving experience, I recommend the MURDERDRONE mod. You can set how effective it is, so whether you just want some help in the Skull Caverns or if you don't want to ever be touched by anything that isn't human ever again, MD has you covered.

When you said ugly vanilla stardew I'm gonna be honest.My heart shattered a little. I usually play On vanilla for The past two years that i've had this game although To be fair , i've only played like 120 or so hours lol I got back into it recently. Because the school's semester was ending, And the last time I tried to install a simple mod My save file was nearly corrupted and I just left it alone after that.Because I was scared and didn't know how to continue.I still don't so i will be watching this video a few times

time speed is a must have for me, I hate when I have so much to do, and no time, with time speed I just stop time (or slow it down) and I can redecorate my farm without loosing a whole day in the process also better junimos is great, or delux grabber redux, it works outside the coop/barn, and picks up artefact spots (old and new ones) all foregables (with your botanist skill of course) and even shakes the trees/harvest moss, according to your specifications. oh, auto break geodes is a good one if you have hundreds of geodes and don't want to spam the buttons nyang scarecrows is the cutest, it turns all your scarecrows to (stationary) cats, which honestly makes a lot of sense

One of my favorate mods that is sadly not updated yet is PPJA - Fresh Meat_An 'Alternative' Butcher Mod it adds new plants to the game but not just any new plants they grow meat. Now you can have a nice fresh Steak right off the vine. But what is updated is Seasonal Outfits Slighty Cutter Astadic. just a mod for adding new outfits for the villagers including ones for the Flower Dance and the Sprit Eve outfits are great.

If you play on console or don’t like mods, after unlocking the movie theatre you can take your spouse for unofficial dates. I do this every Saturday and it’s very cute

Can you teach us how to install Stardew Valley Expanded mod please? I'm very new to the game and modding is quite confusing to me especially Expanded Stardew where they required tons of mods for it to work some of them said optional some of it is required, it's even more confusing now. I really want to try something new to spend many real life months to play. I saw alot of KZfaqrs playing this mod and i really want to try it out too but English is not my strong language so its really hard for me to understand how things like modding work also my main language is not a common language that people use as well, if i try to translate web page to my language it will just translate word directly word by word. It's even more confusing.

I love Date Night even though it could go for some work. But it also works with custom NPCs so I recommend it with mine a lot cause I can't code events I don't hate.
