There are 38 different gear sets in Raid Shadow Legends. I think you can complete the entire game by focusing on just 11 of them! This video talks through what sets are best for early-mid and then end game and what sub stats you should be aiming for to make the best use of those sets! Doesnt mean there are not niche ways to use other sets btw :)

Just a note: Retaliation is amazing for Unkillabe CB. On non void affinity boss the AOEs are 2 and 4 hitters, which makes a 58% and an 82% chance to counterattack.

Honerable mention should go to regeneration set, which allows you to finish fw with a bunch of 5 stars!

I'd say Regeneration is highly undervalued. For all the champions that cannot hit hard or all the content where WM and GS are not relevant its way better than Lifesteal. I build all my support champs with high HP and good speed in Regen.

Very true, no way to mastery all those champs especially support ones, so they are unable to sustain from lifesteal. I have ~5 set of ok refresh gear what i rotate between factions, and they help progressing a lot. And just like you said usually 2-3 6* is enough for a team to finish faction wars with this gearing.

I finished FW yesterday and got Lydia. Regen is SO good for slapping on 5 star support champs. Especially for factions that lack accessible healers.

@@stefanoconrotto9998 I agree 110%. In my teams Lifesteal is the staple - but of course, like Hell Hades says in the video, Lifesteal does not do a lot for those who can't hit hard, so for those weak hitters I prefer Regeneration totally.

wish Plarium would do a "gear set cleanse" and combine/rework some sets. Like just drop Life and upgrade everyone's Life gear to Immortal or Divine Life as an example. Or make these "family sets" work together so that one Life piece and one Divine Life would give you 15% health and a 7.5% shield.

Wish they would just change all sets to 2piece and make it so using 4-6 pieces of the same set wouldn't stack the bonus, maybe then people might start looking at the less desirable sets as more than niche gear only equipped for a fight or two.

TY for emphasizing perception there in the middle. I had accuracy issues with my Frozen Banshee because I can't get a banner to drop and I pulled my head out of my toosh a few days ago, crafted the right pieces, and she's almost got me to 1 key Brutal. I'm still early game

I wish you could filter gear by level. Would make selling low level gear a lot quicker. For example I moved into mid to end game and want to make room as my gear is maxed and want to sell all my 4* gear to bring in the new 5-6* gear I have waiting in my inbox.

Great video as usual... I would say though that (especially after the buff) Regen gear is top tier. It has literally helped me beat so many factions where I didn't have a healer. Think champs that don't do much damage but you need them to stay alive because they revive or they taunt or whatever.

HH thanks for the break down, it’s not important just on the sets you mentioned, but all sets, I went back over some of my choices and have made some improvements, I found this video a little late for my lvl 60’s,….however I have been applying what you are talking about in this with runic warder (my only reflect) he is now a beast! Just wanted to mention there is a set in the forge you can make that also have immunity like the immunity set but also give + 40 resist (4 item set) .. anyways thanks very much for all your great videos, please keep up the good work :)

Great, vid, HH. I'm at the point I need to tidy up my artifacts, and this is helpful. One note: you forgot Untouchable. Harder to get, but it's a straight improvement on Immunity gear.

The issue with most of the doom tower sets is that it's incredibly hard to farm enough of it to farm a good set, especially for the 4 piece sets. The set bonus might be an upgrade, but how many players have farmed a set of pieces that are an upgrade over their best immunity set? Or even their 3rd or 4th best immunity set? That's generally a point that fell a bit short in the video - availability of the set matters. Resilience is not a great set, but it's one of my most used sets, simply because I create a lot of it and some of my best gear is in resilience.

Good video HH. Well aimed across the entire player base, and good to help remind us all to clear up our inventory. Only feedback would be to remember to move yourself to the centre of the screen on videos like this as you are referencing gear stats that we can't see in the bottom left. Great video overall - I wish I saw this when i was starting up. I would switch shield set with perception set. Shield/Stun set requires killing Fire Knight for which you need specific champs to do it: team-wide reflect damage / counter-attack or/and multi-hitters - you can be waiting for these champs for months, while perception sets you can access fairly early: first few 6-star champ can get you over stage 7 and you can get some crafting materials in events

I recently finished FW with a bunch of 5star champs and perception definitely played a huge role in getting them the right stats. My speed gear was on better champs that I regularly use and my accuracy gear was, surprisingly, worse that my perception artifacts.

Untouchable is just as good in the forge as Swift Parry and Perception. Immunity + 40 Resist and you are guaranteed to get it, no having to worry about Fireknight drop rate. Everyone goes nuts over Immunity gear so it is kind of shocking no one thinks of untouchable in the forge. Huge set for mid-late game arena.

Great vid as always but a few honorable mention should be guardian set for champs like Ursuga and Vogoth and BloodThirst which is just an upgraded Lifesteal set. also Untouchable is just a upgraded immunity set.

Regeneration set is the best set for fw. Your buffers, etc needs that to survive, as you just cant give masteries for that many heroes. So that is the only way to keep alive the small hitters. So basically most of my fw teams are half regen half stun, and if i have some damage dealers that goes into lifesteal. secondary set is almost exclusively perception to let them work.

I have about a bazillion champions. I use resilience on several of them because it's easy to come by great pieces, and gaining some set bonuses from them are better than miss matching other sets to come to the same stats without the bonuses. Defense and HP are great stats to increase by the way. Don't throw that stuff away people.

Sure stats are more important than sets when your only goal is high stats but in many cases you will be looking to make use of the added, non-stat related benefits of many sets such as stun, unkillable etc. Plus it is often easier to achieve higher stats with sets than without.

Its 2022 and I've just stumbled upon this video. Really hoping that the artifact meta is still the same! Anyway,I've been trying to use the divine type sets since they seem to give you two buffs for two pieces. I made a pretty terrible error though with forging. I crafted a bunch of 5/6 star perception gear but sold them because I thought that the primary stats weren't great... Yeah and then I realised how hard it is to farm up the gems :( Live and learn!

I would only say this as we need a trade between clan members to get decent artifacts gear for beginners or players. The struggle to get a decent gear is so harsh that no matter what champs you have. The gears lack of you so make you disappointed as can't make much of work in CB or other section. Thanks for the set over view and hope the best for you.

I am 2 weeks into the game. I farm brutal area 6 stage3-6 with my Kael lvl50 while gaining XP for food champs. I think this is better than 12.3 on hard because I can also XP up 3 food champs in brutal area 6 while farming speed set gear. Thanks for all the videos Hell Hades, they have been very helpful! How much speed & accuracy for Brutal and Nightmare campaign?

Have things changed since you posted this? I started farming 6-5 brutal for chest plates and after hundreds of energy spent with no usable gear, I started keeping track. I did 42 more runs through (336 energy by my count) and, again, NO usable gear. In fact, in all those runs I got exactly ONE 5* chest plate and it was common!!

I feel like Relentless is actually pretty good here in the very early game (less than 2 weeks played). Getting to take an extra turn for free can just win things sometimes.

Even without the unkillable, Swift Parry is 1.5 speed sets and 1.5 crit damage sets. So 3 sets for the price of two, if you were going to put speed and crit damage on a champion anyway. Pretty good for a nuker.

People always say stats over sets, and I get that, but if you can both why wouldnt you? sets are a decent bonus..Like if im going for a speed champion, wouldn't I try for a speed set first? or hmm I need accuracy set, might as well do the freebie perception set

I don't understand why people talk about Immunity and don't get excited about Untouchable. It's farmable through Doom Tower. And has lastsing value after 2 turns. It's in all ways better than Immunity.

Well, you forgot the Divine sets. They come from the weak source, but when you match two good 6-stars, they are top draw fillers: for example, Divine Life (you got 15% HP + 15% MAX XP shield). You put 3 x 2, that is 45% shield on champ. I got my early attackers in Divine offense and Divine Crit Rate, and it is way easier when you don't have to bring supporter just to keep dmg dealer alive...

You forgot about bloodthirst set. Basically lifesteal set but a bit better. Also Stalwart is op for CB if you have a reliable healer.

Good God man. How long have you been playing this game or how much money did you spend on it to get so many Legendary Champions and level them up to their max? I played for maybe 3 weeks and I’m ashamed to admit that I actually spent a fair amount of money in even that short amount of time. I ended up with 2 Legendary Champions, one of which was given to me just for playing, but obviously didn’t come close to leveling them up completely. Then I got bored, quit and deleted the game.
