@@robert100xx Robert you are right. Man-made CO2 emissions amount to 5ppm/yr. Half is absorbed into the oceans and plant photosynthesis. The other half or .00025% is absorbed after a few years. We are up +1.5C from the 1870 minimum and the sky has not fallen in. Otherwise we are pandering to un-elected bureaucrats and billionaires who according to the 2030 Great Reset want to impoverish the middle class, strip them of their assets, assign them to cubicle housing and total dependence on govt for their subsistence.

More likely they had an EV, and plugged it into a charging station, powered by a diesel generator, because a lot of EV charging points are powered by a diesel generator, the local power grid is insufficient to charge a half dozen EVs, so their electric vehicle is powered directly by the oil they want to stop, they are just too stupid to think of that. Assuming the EV is powered by carbon-neutral electricity it takes about 100,000 miles for an internal combustion engine vehicle to catch up with the CO2 released to create an EV, so if it is not charged with carbon-neutral electricity, an EV is will in it's lifetime probably cause roughly double the emissions of CO2 that an ICE vehicle does
