Now I’m not of the Jewish faith but since we of the Christian faith are asked the similar question of “how can God regret things if He is all knowing” according to the Bible, I thought I would attempt to answer this if you would all kindly allow me to 🙂 Well since God is “the same yesterday today and forever”-Hebrews:13:8, He is obviously UNCHANGING, He just “RESPONDS” to what WE do and the way WE change and it’s THEN recorded in scripture for us to THEN know... Though He knew beforehand what we as humans would do at a specific moment in time, He can only respond “emotionally or physically” to what happened AT THAT MOMENT MERELY MAKING IT KNOWN TO US, regardless if He had regretted it beforehand or even after; case in point just because we don’t have “writings” that say God regrets that NOW at this moment in time, it doesn’t mean He doesn’t STILL regret it right? Once something is actually regretted, do you think it’s possible to NOT regret it? The fact of the matter is what’s to be done is done and just because it’s “RECORDED” in writing that He regretted it at that moment in time, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t actually regretted since the beginning of time, IT’S JUST SIMPLY MADE KNOWN TO US within the realm of OUR finite “time matter and space” and in scripture... And also just think, for example if you went for a car ride just to get out of the house for a moment and ended up getting in a car crash that paralyzed you permanently from the neck down, I’m pretty sure you would ALWAYS regret taking that car ride no? That “EMOTION” would never change because the result was indefinitely impactful to you... Well since we as humans were created with free will, GOD CAN ONLY “RESPOND” emotionally or physically to what we do WITHIN OUR time and space for us to “see or read” because the Bible is mostly an OBSERVATIONAL record of what happened from OUR perspective, but the fact that He regretted it would have ALWAYS been the case, it’s UNCHANGEABLE. And lastly a question for example, when you ride a bike in the same direction of the wind, THE WIND IS FOR YOU, but when you ride a bike in the opposite direction, THE WIND IS AGAINST YOU. Now we “OBSERVE” from our perspective the wind SEEMS to be for us or SEEMS to be against us, but did the wind ever actually change? No, even though it SEEMS like it did from OUR VIEW in OUR”body”, the wind ULTIMATELY remained the same, just as God remains the same, HE IS UNCHANGING 🙌🏻 Hallelujah praise God, in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit 🙏🏼 amen...
