You must be my long lost brother! 🙃 Haha like the Mustang story. I started reading Rumi poetry a few weeks back and was really struck by his style (principally the 4 line ‘quatrain’ style I like it straight to the point). This Rumi poem struck me in particular - (conversation with God) - Rumi poem - “I said: what about my eyes?
He said: Keep them on the road. I said: What about my passion?
He said: Keep it burning. I said: What about my heart?
He said: Tell me what you hold inside it? I said: Pain and sorrow.
He said: Stay with it. The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” Further research showed that ‘Leon Cohen’ (embarrassing I don’t know him although I listen to music 24 hours a day). Cohen who was singer/songwriter of Christian and Judaism foundation (not that is matters call it what you will universe. Infinite intelligence, Jesus) but was not to my surprise influenced greatly by Rumi in particular and Sufism, which this verse clearly shows a comparison too - Cohen verse from his song ‘Anthem’ - “Ring the bells that still can ring,
Forget your perfect offering,
There is a crack, a crack in everything,
That’s how the light gets in. Clearly ‘the wound is the place where the light enters you’ (Rumi) and ‘there is a crack, that’s how the light gets in’ (Cohen) are synonymous. Hallelujah song - must listen - I particularly like the song ‘hallelujah’ as well (link below if it interests you) which takes a more somber take on how pain and heartbreak can also induce ‘Hallelujah’ (praise God). Not just merry events, such as we occasionally see on UK TV from Gospel hand clapping churches in the deep south. Although Cohen was principally bought up in the Christian and Judaism religions faiths, I was not at all surprised to find he was also greatly inspired by Sufism (especially Rumi). I also very much admire Sufism and particularly Rumi’s creative style of apparently ‘whirling around with red wine and dancing while dictating new quatrains to music’. Sounds quite the character eh? I could write endlessly (and did) in reply to my sister in my interpretation but will leave it there for brevity. Anyway, just wanted to share that as my sister sent this only yesterday, having never sent or mentioned Cohen her whole 58 year life and I found Rumi only weeks ago and now you talk about him, weird world eh 🙂, synchronicities. You seem a well versed man of the world so no doubt know all this. Just thought it might be useful for other readers on your channel as well, I’m not making out I know it all. But yes, Sufism is really to me the core true peaceful seed of the Koran teachings before greedy human manipulation took hold of the religion for worldly gain, power, pleasure, control etc much like most religions. These are the links if you’re at all interested - ‘Hallelujah’ - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j9h8npenyb-WaIU.html ‘Anthem’ - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mZ5ddbdn3sXbiZs.html Peace bro Ps like the ending, it always astounds me when people say they don’t believe God, wtf? what’s all this then? 😂

Thanks Yash. I think the 8th Sphere could represent the 8th Dimension. From what I have read its the dimension whereby we no longer make use of a physical body and go into light/source as pure consciousness. So the dismantling of the body and twisting could be a metaphor for that . I feel I want to so deeply become mlre spiritual and develop my spiritual practice but real life currently keeps me locked into 3D things…trying to study for this course, stresses of progressing a career that seems ljke an endless rabbit hole, tryijg to balance a family life. Theres so much “static” in my life i often think perhaps i wont have time to just develop spirituallly if that makes sense. Even though i am aware of it all. I exist in states of stress anger and depression at times. I feel like this is a twilight zone. Do you know what i mean?

Yes, u can just do “check ins” as often as u can and just recognize the silent space inside and then feel it as u do what u do in the word and just keep doing that without focusing on mind projected results. Let the alchemy happen in its own time.

Loving your videos Josh, I have just been handed a lung cancer Diagnosis , stage 3, (inoperable as its gone to my lymph nodes in my chest) I caught it too late ; Chemo could slow it down, but at what cost,.??.I am just wondering if you have any wisdom you can bring to bare regarding the truly dying ! Cremation v burial , only I heard when we die we go back into the body , from whence we came. .Does it no longer matter .? I am only 63, death often comes sooner then we think....I have had 3 climatic realisations throughout my life, I am God realised, and have realised immortality , and through my five year Tantra practice , I experienced being reborn , I cried like a newborn baby, taking his first breath , in a flesh of light something went snap in my brain, and this cry came out of me , I say this not to brag or look for sympathy in anyway , but out of a respect of your own process, in the knowledge that you are one of the few people I know that can grasp this amazing Grace , and what lies ahead ?!? thanks Man , I Love that your here for those who can hear , He which brought me here is taken care of me.... Amen

Hi, Welcome... In India they always felt that cremation of the body is better because it allows the transition of our astral body (that which doesnt die) to transition to the subtler planes more easily because it might be instinctual for the individualized consciousness to want to hang around the physical body (as in the case of being buried) longer than needed (of course it depends on our realization). I will be cremated, myself. Yes, its so true that death of the body can come so quick and unexpected for most everyone, because we often don’t contemplate it before it comes. The mind blocks that contemplation. I feel like leaving the body may be a similar sensation as when I was a young kid and riding a roller coster-- during that initial climbing up the steep hill at the beginning and then going down the hill. For those few seconds it will be a rush (a lot of energy will get released). i made this video on dying some time ago: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bq2KktiUp7K6l30.html I also feel this segment from yoganada’s book will be very useful for you: The Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar www.crystalclarity.com/autobiography-of-a-yogi-yogananda/chapter-43/

I read that in buddhism they say that our last thought or feeling can decide where we are reborn? And that if we have fear we could be reborn into a lower realm. I struggle with this because surely it's normal to have fear when dying.
@spiritualrenaissance

Hey YOSH! Question. Are you familiar with Byron Katie yet? She has been seen to have a spontaneous awakening much like (I forget his name atm but something ramenashi, sorry for spelling lol). But she has been told to have ZERO experience in spirituality and seems completely free (says she has had zero sense of suffering for over 40 years now), if so I would be SOOOOOOOO stoked to hear a vid on her and your thoughts if you really have dug into her work (called the work) and just her in general! Thanks a million my guy!! Love ya man! ❤

I have a question about fear. How should we approuch this sometimes paralyzing emotion towards something ? How should one find enough courage to face it/them ? It would be nice to hear your thoughts and pointings on a video from this subject, because i think this feeling is very present in all of us and can be attached to so many things and situations.

@@spiritualrenaissance That was a very good question. When i asked the question it felt so obvious, but now im not so sure. All my fears seems to play around of feeling not safe or unsafe. Im just not sure am i more scared of the feeling unsafe or the situations that makes me feel scared (unsafe). So maybe the right question would be how to be able to feel safe once again in life ?

Awesome vid :) you mentioned once you find your archetype it can be easier to find which masters you resonate with. How can I discover my archetype? Thank you! ❤
@spiritualrenaissance
@spiritualrenaissance Жыл бұрын
Archetypes can be divine or diabolical, sacred or profane, the sinner or the saint, the adventurer, the sage, the seeker, the rescuer, the love object, and the redeemer. These are all exaggerated expressions of the conscious energy of the individual soul. But this realization of our natural tendencies (play of gauanas) or archetype unfolds naturally. I feel that too much thinking about it can cause problems. But just a basic idea is the following archetypes below (including the aforementioned above). We can have more than a few, but will usually predominate in 1 . the joker, the ruler, the lover, the caregiver, the creator, the explorer, the rebel, the hero, the innocent, the sage, the sinner
