I remember once my mom let me say yes to one of the people selling flat irons who offered to do it for free 😂 I’ve got ages of pencil-curl hair (as I’m mixed race, half African American). My hair is a dark shade of dirty blonde and a small crowd gathered over the next 3 hours while I sat there enjoying the free blowout and iron via some poor kiosk worker who was probably getting paid minimum wage. After that we dipped without buying an iron
