Lauren is absolutely insane in her vocals. Not only does she have power, she has LUDICROUS amount of range, and she can switch between harmony and screaming instantly, and smoothly as hell. It blows my mind how someone can have a voice like that.

...There was a man I used to know. A really cool person named Andy. Whenever I was in his car, as a kid, the one song I remembered playing in his car was this. It came on often enough that it stuck with me for years. A good memory really. An even better person. He was basically my dad for a while... He unfortunately left one day, without a word. I did find him again, years later, around the year I was 16 (last year) He's been doing well enough. Personally I don't blame him, but hell did I miss him. Thanks for making a cover of this. It's a song that takes me back to a better time. One of the few songs I never get tired of listening to.

From the second Jonathan kicks this song off til the very end, every second feels like perfection. When Lauren comes blasting in with the drums, hundreds of listens later I STILL get chills. She always emotes incredibly while singing, but the first "dance fucker dance" is otherworldly. And her delivery of the second round of "dance fuccccker dance" is a genius choice. Jonathan commands the vocals on his end just as equally and looks like a total badass. You two killed it. My all time favorite song.

Considering the lyrics, it also sounds like someone goes rogue. Or gets revenge, toying either their victim: "Dance, fucker dance!" And while not sung in this cover, the original song has "Clever alibis, Lord of the Flies, hit 'em right between the eyes..." so it feels like someone really went cutthroat with being a rebel. I get the feeling this song is not for the good guy but a villain you cheer on for the sake of just cheering on the bad guy.

This song reminds me of my best friend. We would always go longboarding together and he'd always play music from his phone when he did. This was one of his favorite songs to play and I always associate it with him. Unfortunately one day we were longboarding and he crashed, and died 6 months later from the complications. R.I.P. Luis Foden, 12/7/1994 - 12/22/2016. You were the best friend I've ever had, man. I hope you're in a happier place right now. Great job on the cover song, guys!
