Recently, I feel like I've been drifting away from God. Earlier today I was crying because I felt like I was losing hope and because I've never heard God's voice. I was thinking that he wouldn't answer me. But I saw this video come up on my phone, and I clicked on it. After a minute I realised that God is talking to me through these videos that I keep ignoring, and that i've been so blinded by only wanting to hear his voice myself. I haven't been praying, i haven't been prioritising my relationship with God, I really hope that after I finish typing this, I don't go back to mindlessly scrolling on my phone all day. Could someone please pray for me if that's okay?

Praying for you!! I know what that's like. I made an idol of God's voice instead of His word. I'd try to fit God into a box of what I wanted him to be. I created a false "holy spirit" that supported me in everything (even sin). God will always correct you, but I've learned that it starts with leaning into surrender and allowing him to discipline you. (Hebrews 12:6) I pray that He will reveal to you who He is and how to seek Him in this season. I've never heard God's voice audibly, but I've learned through leaders and parent figures the areas that he does speak. I have a friend who has prophetic dreams where she actually sees the future, but mine aren't like that. I know if I were to get those dreams, I'd try to change things. So, my dreams have to be interpreted by the word and spending time with God. God speaks in a way that grows you and helps you listen. For some people, that's audibly, but for others it might be through other people, dreams, circumstances, etc. Sorry if that didn't make sense! God bless you ❤

God talks to everyone differently whether it’s through a sudden thought, a riddle, a dream, a vision, a prophecy, and or audibly, God speaks to people differently because he knows which way will get through to you, but remember that in order for you to deepen your relationship you have to make an effort because the voice of God doesn’t come without work. God needs to see effort and with the closer you get to God the more or less you are attacked, Like me for example the enemy attacks my mental because I’m the weakest in that aspect but no matter how down I am I always have to make room for God and so do you.

I’m slowly trying to become a follower of Christ, and every time I sought knowledge from Jesus, a video like this would always pop up mere seconds later. This has happened to me three times. The first time, I was wondering if I had been committing sins without knowing, and I got a video that told me swearing was a sin, something that I used to do frequently. The second time was when I wondered how to become a follower of Christ, and a few seconds later, I saw a video that was told me that I need to read God’s word. The third time, was this video. Just a few minutes ago, I was wondering why I don’t hear from Jesus for certain periods of time, and this video just answered my question, probably about 20 seconds after I asked myself that, I noticed this video and you’ve answered my exact question.🙏

a moment when i absolutely heard the Holy Spirit was one night i was driving a route i take all the time, and the middle turn lane opens up into a regular lane. once it does i usually always will get over. the road also curves right and then left after a set of railroad tracks. so i think to myself “i’m going to get over now” and inside my chest i feel “no, don’t get over.” i sit with that for a second and i’m like ‘alright, i’ll listen, i won’t get over’ and once the road curves, immediately after the railroad in that opened up lane was a huge opossum that had just gotten hit. it was where my left tires would have been and so close to the tracks that i would’ve had short reaction time- most likely would have hit it!!! i was in absolute shock and so thankful i had listened

A few nights ago at my youth group we did popcorn preaching. Some students were given random objects and had to speak about them after 2 minutes of planning. Everything can point you to God if you look hard enough. I've never heard the audible voice of God, but He knows I like puzzles and "wormholes" of information. So, he gives me dreams to interpret so I can focus more on what he is speaking. They typically deal with what I've been reading about or struggling with. And I'll end up spending lots of time jumping between the books of the Bible as He connects the dots. Sometimes conversations will lead to new revelations. He's even spoken to me through songs in a friend's car or things I do for entertainment. God is loving and seeking him does not have to be a chore. And, it is possible to hear God's voice! My Dad has told me that he's been woken up by singing like in Zephaniah 3:17. God is our Father and he knows how to speak to us in ways that touch us and draw us to him.

Honestly I been having this problem of feeling like God is telling me to get rid of my Playstation. But I cant tell if its God's voice or not. I was baptized not too long ago, and I just now started to really get in this journey of trying to get into a relationship with God. Can somebody please pray for me??

Maybe god has a bigger plan for you then you see just yet? Maybe these urges and feelings of giving up PS4 is your soul responding to gods calling? This is sometimes how god leads us into doing the things he wants us to do. I don't know where your at in your journey but maybe he wants you to put the games down to start hustling making money because thats his plan for you or maybe something else is your plan? Nobody knows but god Im only replying because i weirdly had the same feelings after being baptized and I also gave up my ps4 for a little bit. My anxiety recovered I got a job and now yesterday I just made three sales on my t-shirt business that I've been spending alot of time working on. God bless

Well you don't want my essay of an answer but I can cite 50 reasons God wants ppl to get rid of PlayStation. I had a dream involving my PS3 recently but I only know as mine meant. It involved a thing enemy will do during trib or a lil before as seals break

Let me just share my own experience. I’ve also been feel in like God is calling me to let go of a lot of things I thought were basicslly “whatever” like random TV shows or games and other content. One thing God has been teaching me lately is that we cannot drink of His cup and then drink the cup of demons (Inspired by; 1 Corinthians 10:21). You also cannot serve two masters (Inspired by; Matthew 6:24). When we come to God we receive the Holy Spirit who tells us what He hears (Inspired by; John 16:13). That feeling of conviction you get after sinning, that ushering to read the word of God, that ushering to put distractions aside is the Holy Spirit. Any urge to do good is ultimately from the Holy Spirit, it’s from God. I can assure you, the enemy does try to trick us by acting as God but the enemy certainly would not work against his own dominion, he would not try to drive out himself (Inspired by; Matthew 12:26). Now I’m not saying PlayStation is demonic, but hear me out. We all have a calling on our life that requires different sacrifices. It’s like, doctors have to sacrifice 8 years to learn medicine and sometimes some family time, while SOME CEOs have to sacrifice some honesty to achieve specific goals. There’s a sacrifice in everything. And as we draw closer to God one thing He has been teaching me is that the process of sanctification requires God to strip us of everything of the world so He can put new garments on us. After all, would you put clean clothes on a dirty garment? No you would first take off the dirty garment and then wash yourself and then put on the clean clothes. SUMMARY; That is to say, if you feel like God is asking you to put aside the PlayStation and come spend more time with Him, I can assure you that is likely Him. The enemy would not ask you to do something that draws you closer with God, neither would your flesh wwnt you to do so. And the spirit inside you that now has the Holy Spirit wants what God wants, therefore if your spirit wants that then 2 + 2 = That’s God. Faith is a lengthy walk and it’s sometimes hard to tell when God is speaking, but that’s all apart of the process. Sorry for the lengthy comment I just wanted to assure you that if that’s what you’re feeling take action. God isn’t one to force you to make a sacrifice because this is a partnership, but you definitely do have to let it go and come closer to Him if you feel that way. God bless you friend 🙏🙏❤❤

Yeah, some of us might never audibly hear God’s voice, some of us might only hear him once in our lives, and others might hear him all the time, you can’t compare your relationship w/ God to someone else’s, all of our experiences w/ God are unique, we must understand this..
