i’m listening to this in math class and Waltz No. 7 In C Sharp Minor came on which is a piece i played for a concert for my piano class before covid. i messed up really badly (i get stage freight so i hate concerts) and hearing it again brought back bad memories (i hated piano class). i forgot how to play most of the piece. listening to it today made me realize how beautiful it is. i think i’ll try relearning it again.

POV - Because of the pandemic, my job has largely remained online, which is nice because I no longer have to regularly commute into NYC. Most mornings I work remotely from my Alma Mater's old gothic castle-style library in Upstate NY and sit next to the library's massive gothic lead-lined windows that overlook the campus's sweeping manicured lawns. Currently, It's fall so the campus trees are burning with various shades of yellow, orange, red, and brown. This playlist definitely elevates the vibe and helps me focus.
