the cat tensing up and relaxing is a perfect metaphor for the tension in the scene.

I get the feeling that while Haruko, as manipulative as she is, did care about Naota to some extent.

After all, Haruko has some compassion since she shows it in FLCL Alternative by helping the protagonist.

@@ImStianniThroughout most of the series (other than Season 5 since she doesn’t appear) she does show some compassion for others it’s just that she often has a hard time of showing it and considering she ends up leaving pretty soon after meeting people, she probably doesn’t see any reason to really connect with anyone beyond that

I like this season better and I know that this voice actress from season 1 is the same in 2 & 3 but this voice in 2000 compared to 2018 feel better to me but that’s my opinion I could be tripin but idk
