So I measured the angle of the slope and it's about 12° meaning that the force hitting Bill would be around sin(12°) * 685lbs, which is around 150lbs of force minus friction. That's actually not a ton.

Bill is strong as hell , but when he does things for/helping people he’s at his best . If he didn’t stop that furniture , his friends could’ve been in danger . Bill would never let that happen . So he not only has his base strength , he has his adrenaline from protecting his friends/the only “family” he has .

This song is so inspirational, that's why it works with everything. Because it doesn't matter what show, movie, or game is being used, it's the feeling of overcoming an obstacle and achieving a victory that we all share. That's why people go to bars to watch sports even though they could do so from the comfort of their own homes; you can share both frustrations and celebrations with like-minded folks.

I remember watching this episode for the first time years ago. The suspense literally had me on the edge of my seat. King of the Hill was some of the most amazing entertainment I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. It knew how to teach lessons very creatively while still being funny. Like Bill’s speech to Boomhouer, it was actually kind of inspiring. Futurama was really good, too, but they had way more obvious “in-you-face” comedy while King of the Hill had more subtle comedy, which I prefer.

One of my favorite things about king of the hill is the dynamic between our four alley drinkers. Boomhauer is arguably the most reliable, as he’s not an idiot, he just likes doing the stupid shit Dale and Bill do. Dale is the guy you tolerate, because you’ve just known him forever, and he’s a genuinely good dude, but is largely useless outside his niche profession/hobby. Bill has potential, but low self esteem has left it wasted, but his untapped power can be called up on when needed. And well Hank is Hank, enough said. Together the four of them can do whatever they try their hands at.
