I like how maury always took the time to let the person apologize before moving on to the next topic. I think its important to clear things up like that once the truth is out if possible. I think taking that second to acknowledge they were telling the truth is important even if the person fails the rest. That allowed the 2 women to get over that mess before moving to the bad things.
