The S10 series is the pinnacle of smartphones! After this they started removing features and forcing you to sacrifice things to keep the price down or force you to buy Ultra, Max, or Pro versions.

Yes the OS update will stop after Android 12 *BUT* the _security updates will continue until 2024._

The S10 was the last phone that had all the features. These days phones seem to always lack features that we used to get automatically

I has S10 untill couple of months ago. Biggest reason I got rid of it is battery. Phone all in all is really good, no doubt. But I had to charge it two times a day (counting the time I was at work and could not use it. Still battery drained itself while standing still). I am now using xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, and apsolutely adore it. Proccesor as in S20 (Snapdragon), great camera. On top of all, GREAT battery. 2 days of usage no problem. And still have around 25-30% at the end of day 2.

S10/S10+ are still at the top of my list to replace my aging LG G7 ThinQ. The S10 series is about as close as I can get to the G7 other than the DAC and picture quality. I'm going to miss my G7 when it dies!

@@eugene44569 Sure it's got slightly better specs, screen, and cameras. But no headphone jack, for Verizon customers you have no expandable storage and only 8GB or RAM instead of 12. And for the money $300-350 unlocked brand S10+ new compared to $850-1200 S20, that's a no brainer. Especially if you live in an area without 5G!

Headphone jack, expandable storage, MST, and even heart rate sensor. Proud owner of the S10. Had to upgrade and jumped to NOTE 20 Ultra cuz I needed a bigger battery and my S10 had trouble with cellular data connection. It is a great backup phone to use at home tho.

The only way I will upgrade from my S10 is if they bring back ALL of the features it had. Seems like after the s10 was released, all they have done is remove important features - with the exception of the high refresh rate - though I prefer the higher resolution anyway).

Great review Personally I like the S10 alot in my opinion it has the best design ever even compared to s10+ it’s more aesthetic, the only thing that I don’t like is the battery, and my advice is wait for the S22 and S22 ultra releases to buy the S10 even cheaper Edit 1: I also recommend to buy it when you want a good display and performance phone until you afford a new better flagship

if you want a decent phone buy the S10! if you want a budget phone buy the S8 or S9! it's amazing how quickly used phone prices drop! I remember I got my Galaxy Note 4 from ebay used for 130 euro back in 2016 LOL!

I believe the peak brightness is at 1200 nits if under the sunlight but you can only adjust it up to a maximum of 800 nits when the surrounding light is not too bright.

I use an a31 and the battery is perfect for me bcz its 1080p screen is big but sharp and it's soc doesn't use too much power bcz its a lower end one and it doesn't have to go so fast, I average 12 hours of screen on time with a full charge, which is around a day and a half for me

When it comes to the processor most of the tech youtubers talk about the snapdragon 855 and not about the exynos 9820 which is less powerful and more power hungry even though most of the s10 around the world use exynos.

The difference between the Exynos 9820 and the SD855 is not even that pronounced. I swapped my Exynos to an SD version and I saw little differences. Most regular consumers wouldnt care about a split second difference or benchmark scores. They would just care if it is “fast” and takes good pictures. Something the S10 does good regardless of the processor.

High refresh rate is the most overrated feature on any phone! It's only good to say this is better than that because of the numbers. More FPS won't make you a better gamer.
