Great vid Matt. I imagine the people who are selling their Jeeps every three years may not care about this. But those of us wanting to keep it for 15 or more years, it would be smart to look into this.

"Keep them for a decent amount of time"....LOL. Totally agree with you on taking care of your Jeep. but that line almost made me spit my coffee out. I have coffee mugs unwashed longer than you own your Jeeps! Keep up the great work. My 2020 can use a complete refresh though with Jeep paint bubbling it is not worth it until I get that handled.

Great job! I never really knew the coating procedure & I learned a lot. Both Jeeps look fantastic & I love the Distinction Applied emblems. Utah Design Foundry makes cool block off plates for stock steel bumpers with the ends removed. I added them to my 2020 JLUR & they look good & we're easy to install.

My 24 Willys in Yellow was just done. They got it in a week after I bought it. The first thing I noticed is how smooth the surface was. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up. Sure made the yellow pop

Great video as always guys! This is my favorite part of owning a car, cleaning and spiffing and making it feel perfect. It’s fun to throw mud, but to me getting it all cleaned back up is just as much fun. Favorite part was the ending, loved it guys! Just picked up a 2024 392 and LOVE IT. I’ve been thinking about ceramic coating so this video gave me a good nudge. What do you guys think about Racing Optics Jeep Windshield Defense kit? It has 3 removable (plastic?) layers to protect from minor rock chips and sandblasting of the front glass. Love the videos. Keep it up.

Great video! I had Dan Cummins Jeep do mine when I picked it up. I hope they did as a good a job as your guy did. They didn’t remove the decals but I think they did everything else. I’ve only had my Jeep a month.

Would ceramic coating effect the Jeep corrosion warranty? It was tough enough getting my 2021 Wrangler JL corrosion on hood replaced under warranty at the dealership.

I put paint protection film on mine it helps to keep down scratches and rock dings much longer than ceramic. No doubt our jeeps need something especially for what they cost!

I am considering getting my Reign JLU coated, but a question, can I still do decals after it is coated or would the vinyl not stick?

really fine decals are more difficult to apply to a coated surface. There is a spray adhesive promotor you can use to prep the surface and apply the decals with and they will adhere better. something simple like blocky letters will stick just fine. If you don't prep correctly though, decals will not stick well to a good coating like DQuartz or CQuartz from CarPro (used in this video)

Paint Protective Films are still the best protection you can put on a vehicle, however it can be quite expensive. Film is for impact and abrasion protection, while coatings are for long term easy maintenance.

I would not wheel my jeep until I put a ceramic coat on it! Mud will still stick to it but not. Early as much as my buddies keeps and it washes off so easy!

Both Jeeps look amazing! I get tired of people telling me that I need to take my Jeep mudding and through the woods. Even though I bought it used I still paid a lot of money for it and want to keep it looking and running the best I can. I enjoy taking it on the beach. Call it a "Mall Crawler", I don't care.

It will definitely help. DQuartz topped with CQuartz is very durable. Way more durable than the clear coat that came from the factory. It is not stain proof, but it acts like a sacrificial barrier so even if it does get stained from living outside, it will take longer to stain it as bad, and the coating can be polished an another layer of coating applied. it's more about the long term preservation at that point.

I got mine done, and the shop talked a good game but they didn't deliver on it. That's what sucks when you pay out that much money and then the shop does a 💩job. They even left dirt on it under the spare which I found the next day in the light, buffer swirl in the paint, but I decided I wasn't going to fight with them or argue about it, I'll just fix it myself! You know what they say about if you want something done right do it yourself.

DIY it. I did my jeep over 2 days washing, decontamination,polishing and coating. Gyeon makes some that are beginner and outdoors friendly. Should be the evo line they just came out with.

Ryan's Jeep looks great! That's a great idea coating the inner fender Wells. That was a pretty cool lift that Kevin had in his shop. You guys might think about getting one for your shop. Looks like it picked up your 392 with ease. This is my new favorite channel by the way. 👍
