I was born in Soviet Union, but live in England now and work as handyman at student accommodations. I'm not like good chess player, I'm just like all other average players from the USSR. Students at my workplace challenge me sometimes, and I haven't lost a single game. Some English guys I played also, all of them lost. And I'll tell you I wasn't like something good player back in my country, but here in England I feel like I'm quite good. But my sons whom I thought how to play, one is 16 and another is 19 now, are beating me always. I have no chance at all. I really try hard but still can't beat them. Sometimes I wonder if chess is rooted in Eastern European genes.

Wow. How to make a 2100 player look like an amateur

Not trying to brag, but being rated 2100 is considered amateur. You wouldn't even be titled with such rating.

@@alexischbehrend4617 amateur needs context. 2100 rating is still top 99%+ of the chess community. Yes, he can be called an actual amateur. In context, he would make me look like an amateur if I played 2000+ rated player, yet Dubov makes a guy like him look like an amateur. Amateur not as if a new coming in professional player but just as a newbie.
