I’m glad there seemed to be actual discourse and discussion about the royals issues. Sometimes I feel both Jackie and Claudia take one side very strongly and don’t know or mention ALL the facts because it doesn’t align with how they feel. This episode actually felt like they were really explaining and covering ALL sides of the story- even if they didn’t 100% agree with it themselves.

A grand jury decides on if a person is indicted. You can have a jury trial or a bench trial (decided by the judge). Bench trials are common for financial crimes and complex federal cases: easier to schedule, quicker, easier for the judge to understand vs. a jury to understand. Love you gals!

Just watching old eps while you are both on break; the idea of hired jury presented by Turdy is flawed. The United States promises a fair and free trial by peers, often unpaid and unbiased members of the general public. If the government were to create a job for professional jury members who’s to comprehend the amount of corruption that would take place in federal cases. How fair is a trial where the federal government is accusing you, and the jury that will decide your sentencing works for/ is paid by the same federal government. Bureaucracy in the United States is flawed as it is, creating more government would only lead to more corruption and breakdown of the standards set in the constitution and bill of rights. Just my 11 month late (pre law student) opinion. ❤ love you both!

I feel like the Harry and Meghan situations are missing a vital piece when discussed. The common thread is how the media & royal institution relationship is TOXIC and this seems to be the root issue to all these family problems. It’s WILD to me how everyone puts so much onus on the family when it’s the freaking media/royal institution relationship that is breaking this family apart. Clearly Harry and Meghan have said “F You” to the media/royal institution and that whole dynamic, while the rest of the family are still in it. It honestly sounds like when someone leaves a cult and the ones who leave are made to be the villains. 😂 I honestly just feel bad for their whole family. They are just humans at the end of the day and cannot escape being the monarchy. And yes you can feel bad for them even if they are rich and want to stay in it. 😂

Nobody talks about how stressful being called for jury duty is though. I had to call after 5pm every night to listen to a voice message to see if I was being called in. 🙃 jackie is right though, you don't just walk in and sit on a jury you have to be selected and the lawyers pick people based on their responses.
