Oh boy do I have a story about this song. To preface, I've always been a full time wheelchair user. Now, 8th grade gym class the teacher assigned the students to create a specific dance number to this song with very specific move counts that were almost impossible to achieve when you can't use your legs. I had 1 friend in my whole class, an able bodied guy and the both of us were bullied all the time by the rest of the class. So we try to figure out a dance only using upper body movements but it didn't go well, class laughed at us the whole time, but at least we tried. This dance was worth 70% of our grade and this gym teacher had the AUDACITY to fail me and pass my friend. The level of being cussed out by my mother this guy received over the phone was absolutely fuckin glorious I swear.

Have you seen the documentary; "The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story"? If they were in a boy band in the 90's they are probably somewhere in that doc. It's free on KZfaq and it's about how unbelievably SCREWED all of them got by Pearlman. How big was NSYNC when No Strings dropped? I mean even if you hated them, you have to admit they were the biggest name in the game at the time and when you added up how much they'd been paid through the end of their time with Lou, it amounted to less than min wage despite international fame and multi-platinum records.

I saw N'Sync in concert two times. My fav was in 1999 in their No Strings Attached Tour. I went with a group of my friends in school and one of the mothers escorted us there since we were all around 13 and 14 years old. I was head over hill inlove with Justin Timberlake and J.C. But especially Justin. I followed their career and Backstreet Boys and Britney and Christina Aguilera and Destinys Child to Beyonce and Usher and Emeniem and all them iconic artists back in the day from their very start to their veey first videos showed on TRL MTV with Carson Daly as the host. Back then there was no social media and we did not havw youtube. Hell alot of teens did not even have the internet at all. Some of us might of had an old computer to play games on though. But kids are spoiled now with luxuries we did not even habe as teenagers. Who here remembers floppy discs for computers and laser discs thst looks like bug old records like a giganic dvd? It played a movie. But only hapf the movie was on one side then you have to flip it over to watch the rest of the movie. I remember my very first VCR. I still collect laser discs and old vhs tapes to movies that are hard and rare to find on dvd. I first having a BOOM BOX and also a regular tape player and then I also got a cd player. I remember them being very expensive. Or atleast the one I got was. You were talking about nostalgic memories and seeing a cd player in a car. Growing up only rich kids had the nicer more expensive cars that came with a build in cd player. However I was very strong and independent and had a single mother and I believed in working for what I got so I did old jobs and baby sat and cut grass and painted and wall papered and then when I turned 16 I got a job and saved my money and I got bought my own car. It was a Nissan Sentra and it was silver. It was a nice looking car too me. I was more practical in choosing a car instead of a sports car. And I paid for it and paid my own car insurance and ai was proud of that. But my car like alot of cars did not have a cd player built into it. It could only play a casette tape. But that was fine because they were still selling those and cds were still new to me anyway so I did not mind. LOL! I liked them both. But now I find it annoying to have to wait to rewind a tape just to listen to the track all over again. LOL! I was 19 years old before I got my first laptob. I had not had much experience with the internet. And honestly as a teenager none of my friends were interested in the internet either. Cause we did not have facebook or youtube back then. Yall dont realize how lucky yall are in some ways in how accessible watching music videoes and old live performances of iconic award show performances or concerts that you can simply pull up and watch on your phone on youtube. Back then not only did alot of teengers in my school and that I cane in contact with did not only not have or own a computer or have much interest in the internet. But cell phones were something that was a privilege that not all teenagers had. Kids have no use for them. Its strange to hear about a 10 year old who has a cell phone today from their parents. I can understand for safety and emergency reasons. I would want my kid to have a cell phone too for that purpose only. But my hubby and I like most people dont have a home phone anymore. We just have our cell phones. And unlimited minutes and unlimited internet data. But back in the late 90's and early 2000's and when I was 16 I got my first cell phone only because I was now driving and needed it incase of an emergency or for quick phone calls. My mother let me choose my own cell phone and I got a Nokia. I wuld have never thought that I one day in the future have a huge cell phone with a large screen and be able to talk with people from all ver the world through social media and be able to watch music videos and old live performances and movies on youtube on my cell phone. So that as a vast improvement. Stars were ot so easily accessible as they are now in having social media webpages and you can sometimes talk to them like I have talked with a few on their pages. Back then we had to turn to magazines alot to stay up to date on the stars as well as watch their music videoes on TRL on MTV. We also had Pop Up Video which I loved. I remember the only way of having contact of some kind with the stars as to write to them and send them a letter. Thats another thing that was different back then. Some people like myself took the time to write letters to one another. Even me and my friends wrote letters to one another and sent it through the mail. That was our version of txting. LOL! We also decorated our letters with stickers and drew pictures and added the picture in a seperate page inside the envelope with the letter. I had a cute sparkly small mailbox in my bedroom. Any mail I got from family and friends my mother put it in there. And I got mail often enough back then. Back to the cell phone. I paid for my own minutes on my cell phone and since it was expensive I only used it for either emergencies or quick phone calls. My friends and I may have txted a little bit but not much cause it used up your minutes. So people I knew did not txt much. We talked to one another on our home phones and my mother had a seperate line for me. So when our home phone rang if it rang a different ring like it rang twice quickly, then we automatically knew it was one of my friends or somebody trying to reach me. I thought that was pretty cool. I had a pretty cool room as well. My mother let me have two bedrooms to do whatever I wanted with it since she had the master bedroom. The 2nd room I turned into a sort of theater room. I have all the game consoles and the huge a** 100 pound tv. 📺 and 100's of vhs tapes and I also later got dvds when they came out. I had a sort of mini bar set up in my 2nd bedroom. I had a small mini fridge in there and I kept bottle water, cokes and mello yello and Gatorade and YooHoos in there. LOL! And I had a microwave and some cute cabinets to put snacks in and popcorn and stuff so it was great to have friends over. Also Im a singer and a musician and was in a rock band so I had another area in the room that held all my equipment and guitars and drums etc. I had a twin futton bed in there so you could either turn it into a couch or a bed. My mother and I were also like best friends and kindred spirits. She was a free spirit and a child at heart. We had alot of fun together and she enjoyed watching movies with me in my room as well. We also did something really fun. Since Im an old soul at heart I have a great appreciation for older music from many genres except for blue grass which I cant stand. And I love old classic films and old musicals like 7 brides for 7 brothers, Oklahoma!, Sound of Musoc, Annoe, Fiddler on the Roof. I grew up in theater and took jazz, tap and ballet. I also audtioned at a local tv christian channel and they loved the way I sang so they had me on as a frequent guest singer on the show. My Grandmother was friends with them so she told me about it and she thought I had rae talent and should try auditioning. And I did and they loved me so some people recognized me if they ever saw me on tv singing when I was a kid. I have some family in the music buisness. My cousin is actually friends with the legendary Hank Williams Jr. They live nearby one another and hey often hang out and play music or golf together. Hank is a very nice down to earth country boy. Im not sure if you have seen any of his music videos. I also have some famous relatives. My Grandfather and also my great grandmother were singers and pianists and could also play guitar and they also wrote songs and had them published. Im also a cousin of the late actor Jimmy Stewart. He was in so many movies. You may now im best from his movies The Shop Around The Corner and Its A Wonderful Life. And Im also kin to Emily Dickenson. Growing up in my family was extraordinary. But we are down to earth and we are encouraged to follow our dreams. I have so many wonderful memories growing up. My other took me and my friends to my First Britney Spears concert when I was a teen. Brit was around 18 years old. Britney is a few years old when me. She as born in 1981. I also saw N'Sync again in concert and Backstreet Boys and LFO, Spice Girls, 98%, Nickleback, Alice n Chains, Limp Biscuit, Eminem, Metallica, Elton John, Ronnie Milsap and so many other great artists. Metallica was hands down the best concert Ive ever been too. I saw Jason Aldean in concert 2 years ago and it was alot of fun. It was like being at a country rock concert. I had VIP tickets. So getting in and out of the concert as easy. What are some fav concerts you have been too?

I don't know how or why your video(s) showed up on my YT homepage, but hello! I was a big NSYNC fan and still am and I enjoyed watching you react to this video. I hope there are other NSYNC videos, too. (Side note, I'm in my early 30s)

NSYNC wasn't my first concert, but me and my sister had tickets for like 6 months for their no strings attached tour when I was 13. I was really looking forward to the concert and the day before the concert on the news they showed how the stage was damaged from a huge storm that came through so the concert had to be postponed so we had to wait another 2 months before we finally got to see them live. And I saw them again in 2001 at Soldier Field in Chicago. And back then you couldn't take pictures and would confiscate cameras if you tried to bring one in. So my sister's friend snuck one in her shirt/bra.

Still have all my CDs and still know the dance moves! My best friend and I ditched school the day that their album, Pop, came out so we could go home and listen to it, lol. I remember when it was announced that HBO would be showing their Madison Square Garden concert, my mom surprised me by getting HBO for that one month so that I could see it (and record it, lol, I think I still have that VHS somewhere). I even recorded that Disney concert they did, Super Bowl Half Show....I wasn't going to be able to see them in concert since we couldn't afford it so I taped the performances that I could so I could watch whenever.
