Ms. Donisha it's really unfortunate, unfair and it saddened me to hear your pain that someone would go on your page/channel and leave that kinda message. You are such a beautiful person inside and out and you're naturally beautiful a lot of people are ashamed of what they look like without makeup and they think that everyone should feel the same way. Sister Donisha the Lord put you in that position to help motivate and encourage people. Please don't let the devil 👿 pull you down. I really appreciate you for opening up your life to us. I just want you to know that I was watching you one day and my mother saw you both with and without makeup and she didn’t know who you were and said, “she is a beautiful woman.” Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone is beautiful in their own way. I may be attractive to some and unattractive to others. I’ve learned to ignore them. You are excelling in so many areas in your life so that’s the only thing they can come at you with ! Fudge them ! And some people can be attractive but their soul, their character makes them so UNATTRACTIVE!

Hey Donisha, Just wanted to say as hard as it is you have to get to a point of really not giving a damn. Not addressing people, not changing for people, etc…. That’s one thing about social media. People are going to have bad things to say and sometimes more then we’d like. Know who you are, and stand in the fullness of it. With or without makeup, a bra, or whatever else . God bless you and your mom, and keep spreading the word🙏🏽 And Nana I'm with you with the hot flashes🥵 I was put on Paxil (which really helps!) but the dependence on the drug, and withdrawals are not worth it. Go the natural route with over the counter and herbal remedies. Menopause is no joke ladies. God bless🙏🏽❤🌹

I just started watching you today actually and this is like the 4th video of yours I’ve watched straight lol. First of all, I’m so sorry there are such cruel people out there. I couldn’t imagine saying that to anyone. Secondly, it’s absolutely not true! But, what’s more amazing is that you don’t believe it and love yourself enough to not let it bring you down. I’ll be honest, I’m going through menopause right now and have been very, very depressed and if someone said things like that to me, it would shatter me. Thank you so much for this! 6 years ago i went into the bathroom cut all my hair off and colored it. I have never ever felt so alive because i was hiding behind my wigs subconsciously. I think when i started watching so much of everyone social media i got caught up in doing a lace wig and ever time i would buy a wig and put it on i felt like i was hiding again. You are look very nice with your short hair and makeup. BUT YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL with your short hair and no makeup. To see another black women look how i look while I'm not in front of a camera gives me so much pride in what i look like.

It’s easy to say just ignore the hateful comments but you can’t keep hearing these things over and over and it not hurt, that’s understandable. What you have to do is understand that if the people in your life love you what should any outsiders opinions matter? Know that you are beautiful and drown the negative noise out. Don’t stoop to their level. Lead with positivity and instead of wishing they would feel your pain lean on what my grandmother always told me and that is to kill them with kindness. That will hurt the haters more than you know!

I have lived with this my whole life. It does hurt. I have low self esteem/self worth and I hate myself. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I am kind to all I meet. Sometimes people tear others down so that they can feel better about themselves. I am a tall female with a large frame. Now I am also about 80lbs overweight so that doesn't help either. I only go out my house when I have to. In my eves everyone has something that is physically appealing. You do not look like a man to me at all. Its too late for me, I now deal with mental illness, dealing with it for over 30 years because I believed these people. For me it was just so many people telling me the same things it broke me down. Not their fault, I should have been stronger. Please keep your head up. Beautiful eyes, nice cheek bones. You don't come close to looking like a man. Stay strong, stay blessed Donisha. Also those greens and fried liver look soooooo good. Thanks for letting me share my story.

Makeup enhances what's already there. It can also diminish certain features. Doesn't clothing do the same? Beauty standards are subjective and create false perceptions. We all know why folks are emboldened to spew speak their cultural insults online or in person. I'm so glad I found your channel.

I know how you feel sweetie. Someone did that to me and he had me down bad for a while. Some men told me I looked like a man and it had me questioning myself it even affected my intimacy with my husband. It really do hurt because GOD created a woman not a man! Idk just stay blessed girly. 💜
