This is amazing KAA have really tried to do a good job to ensure safety for all passengers. I know JKIA we are good and much better by far than some of Airports in developed and well up countries. Great 👍 work Alex and the instructor. Kindly consider adding sanitation anti-microbial wipes for phones, keys, etc before the initial screening check point after or before washing of hands. Passengers may re-contaminate their 🤚🏽 with unsanitized phones and personal belongings before placing them on the trays and x-Ray machines. Good job 👏

How do you wash your hands and then put your phone on a dirty surface and your phone is not sanitized. Mta okota hiyo korona. Taps should be hands free. Hizo basin, viatu, belts etc.

Nice n informative piece.Kudos Chams media . #For water taps around terminal and departure points in additional to the lavatories would be healthier to upgrade them to hand free one. #For the hand rails revamp them to a model not touchable with also clear signs."Kindly keep off hands on the rails" # For luggages perharps the KQ authorities can re incorporate a disinfecting tunnel at entry n departure terminals_ this goes far in protecting the staff handling buggages in addition to them having gloves. #When you board the aircraft any safety kit provided? That bit was left out...in addition to the normal kit they hv bin providing.Imagine everyone uses the mask they brot frm home .A mini hand sanitizer,clean mask once u board etc. # Do traveller have to take Covid test .Some travel airlines provide it for free latest developments either way if the passenger has to pay it is okey to ensure traveller's safety and those on board. #👏👏👏 KQ for the update # hopes amidst Corona to reopen our economy.

Too good to be true, that is kenya story ya hongo ni amust, else we know where we will spending our 2wks vacation (quarantined) 😊how about touch lesser soap dispenser and taps for hands hygiene to lower disinfections

Two years to see myself here ☺️☺️ am sure by then people will have gotten used to this ...am just happy airports and planes will more cleaner than ever😘.

Good job by KAA. I wonder however, what happens when we have flight delays? The airport is sooo small as is, with limited spaces at boarding terminals. At times 4 flights boarding from 2 adjacent gates. I hope check in time will also increase to 3 hours for international flights otherwise pointless to arrive early and told to wait again for check in😒. Second point, there is zero air conditioning at passport control you can literally faint because no air circulation

JkIA was a nightmere before for international arrivals and deparures. I cant imagine how it will be post covid.

I grade KAA KQ, and this guy in charge, a B for trying and taking the initiative! But a D for not being creative enough! We should also get an international Project Management company too and international architect firm to design our modern Airpot of capacity and the PM firm to manage it to completion, within budget and efficacy we often n absolutely lack in this country! SMH 🤦🏾‍♂️

Rwanda is ahead of you guys in terms of hand washing. Sensors are the best and checking temperatures should be automated guys. Kenyans take things serious
