As far as I know, most if not all the songs that Rocio ( RIP) sang were Juan’s. Now, a little of Rocio’s background: She was a child prodigy from Spain. During her childhood and adolescence, she filmed many movies in Spain and sang in them, kind of like Shirley Temple’s movies. Rocio grew up and fell into oblivion. She was much older than Juan Gabriel. Some how destiny brought them together . Rocio’s voice was the perfect match for Juan’s songs. Thanks to this, Rocio’s career came back to life in a way that was just incredible. And the rest is history.

Juan Gabriel wrote this song for her. It describes their love and friendship. How they met and how much they love and appreciate each other.

Juan Gabriel & Rocio Dúrcal also sing and performed Amor Eterno together, he gave her the song to record for her album too and she does a fantastic job of it too.

HE was the writer of all the songs, he wrote thousands of songs for a lot of singers, he's the greatest songwriter of the history of Mexico. Period!!

I love Rocío Dúrcal. She is a child star. She is a singer and actress. She is known as the Queen of Rancheras; although, she is not Mexican. ROCÍO is from Spain. Rocío is well known for being a rock and roll star in the 60's. She later gravitated to Latin Pop. She was adopted by the Mexican audience, and started singing Rancheras (Mariachi music). She passed away and is no longer with us. But, she left behind her daughter (Shaila Dúrcal), that is the spitting image of her, and has a fantastic voice. Incidentally, this song is song by two other artists, that happen to be friends (Spain and Mexico), Carlos Rivera and Natalia Jimenez. They are both fabulous artist. They won't disappoint. Yes!! Relationships trump everything!! One of the best things in my life wasnt easy but it was working in the farm together with my siblings. We worked from sunrise to sundown in the fields and feeding the many animals we had; but we made it fun! My grandmother always was singing. ❤ These two beautiful voices together sound as if they are weaving a beautiful tapestry with the most vibrant of colors.....right in front of your eyes. She was to JG like Diana Ross was to Michael Jackson. He was a HUGE Rocio's fan/friends. She was my first favorite and JG was my second favorite. I loved them both. She died first from cáncer. He was in such PAIN he couldn't bring himself to her funeral. They were THE perfect mix. Nicaragua/ Miami/ BX. She was BEAUTIFUL inside and out. She started in the fifties. He started young in the late 70's 80s. I also cried when she died. I was DEVASTATED.

If you read the lyrics of the song it’s definitely a story that describes their friendship and all you guessed (correctly) in the video. Juan Gabriel’s music came out years before I was born, but I absolutely love it and I listen to it regularly.

I recommended this video a while ago the song is great however as I mentioned they played this song at the Degollado theater in Guadalajara Mexico and it marked the reconciliation between the two of them after a time they were split artistically It happens in every relationship and and this one was not the exception!
