This was season 1 or 2, and it's infact because of this incident in later seasons Hammond, then Oneill will put two guards inside, two guards just outside the door, and two more guards across the hall opposite the door. They also start putting folks in a holding room, not a jail cell, a solid door, requiring card access, and the room itself is on the right leg of a T junction, this way the guards on the LEFT leg of the T, so the person who is attacking the door guards and trying to break into the room, can be shot in the back. Also I think Teal'c's quarters are nearby and/or they generally have Teal'c nearby to kick the ass of anyone who managed to take out the guards and/or get in the room. they use this strategy several times and it works. Sorry that it took Jolinar to get killed for them to learn it.

The Ashrak went to the monitor room to find her and disabled the cameras to the cell and I think Ashraks are stronger than other Goa'uld

I suspect there’s some sort of paralyzing effect. Kind of like how those orange glowing hand weapons that the goauld use to torture people, keep victims from standing up and fighting back.

@@ff3player Pretty sure the ashrak are the goa'uld equivalent of working at a fast food job to make ends meet until you can get a real job. The goa'uld are all copies thanks to their genetic memory so we can assume the askraks want power just like any other goa'uld... they just aren't in a position to rule right now. I don't think they are supposed to be stronger than any other goa'uld.

@@TheMAZZTer Symbiote-wise, the Ashrak is the same as others, just that the skills they are trained are different. Jolinar is trained as a spy, the ashrak is trained as an assassins.

Yeah. Maybe he/she/whatever was all about dying with dignity and all that. Or perhaps it knew that death was inevitable and realised that the only way to save the host's life was not to give resistance. Fighting might have led to the host getting stabbed or otherwise harmed.

What was she going to do? those hand weapons are shown to be very powerful.

@@blawson3603 Also he was specialized for assassination and combat. I imagine the Goauld might have given him technological or genetical enhancements. Hell, there is a huge gap in physical feeds between the average and the peak human in RL.

Male host is much stronger and noticeably faster than female host. Also, Ashrak is very skilled assassin, actually, best of the best. If Jolinar isn't skilled fighter - it's weak and untrained against strong and trained.
