I'm American but a Celtic Football Club fan and I understand. For people here football and other sports is a show to enjoy. They might sing and shout sometimes but it means nothing. For Europeans it is their life. It is to do with ethnicity, nationality, politics and your people. Americans are the worst in the world when it comes to sport. Here it isn't really for the working class, and it's an absolute embarrassment when other countries in any continent see our fans. Here it's all in the last 20 years but in Europe clubs are 100 year old. They see you do your routines and lighting flares and they think its for fun, to have a good time but they don't understand its about representing your club and people the best way you can and fighting and proving yourself. In America sport is a expensive hobby, in Europe its a way of life passed down from generation to generation. I only mean US btw not South America or Mexico or anything

They control the stands and if clubs or someone else wants to regulate us we fight back. Normal fans listen to and respect ultras. In England they were never that big and organized that’s why clubs got them banned from the stands. Unity is power. Club owners may not like us but they must respect us. Ⓛ
