I’m pretty sure it said lake Lewisville. Which wouldn’t be accurate. It’s actually a pretty good lake to fish. Lots of rich folks do water sports. Not a lot of fishermen

Lake Lewisville is actually one of the BEST BASS FISHING LAKES IN TEXAS!!! Several big bass tournaments are held there every year and it usually takes 17-20 pounds to get any where near in the money. Several red clay banks for spawning season, standing timber offshore humps. I believe KVD holds the lake record at 11.3 lbs. There isn't one tournament angler in Texas that would ever even consider Lewisville to be even in the bottom 20 lakes in Texas for bass fishing. There are a lot of pleasure boaters and recreational skiers and such but they generally steer clear of the flooded timber or the creeks. Again, any lake can have a bad day but Lewisville is a fantastic bass lake. One of the better lakes in Texas You may have caught it on a tough day

Another horrible lake in Texas is ascarate lake in El Paso it’s a man made lake that was originally for sea planes to land for the military. There’s largemouth bass and some smallmouth but they’re very picky and aren’t very aggressive

We had 2 boats and caught 4 fish in 5 hrs they were rock bass and one walleye

Lake Lewisville is actually terrible and I’ve lived on the lake for 20 yrs, but just up the road at Lake Ray Roberts is some REALLY good fishing, it’s a state park so they take very good care of the lake you can tell it’s a much more healthier lake, I’ve seen gators in Lake Lewisville and wouldn’t doubt that there is dead bodies in it…

I live 15 minutes from lake Lewisville and I absolutely HATE that lake. Way to dangerous of a lake to fish on due to all the ski boats and other boats creating big wakes. Because of that, it’s the deadliest lake in Tx during the summer. And the bass fishing sucks. I’ve fished it multiple times and never have great luck.

What?!? 🤣 ive never had that much trouble finding good bass in that lake and I’m fly fishing with a hooked wrapped in thread, 2 feathers, and a lil bucktail. Next time, I’d recommend chartreuse colors and fish back further off the bank; essentially fish where yalls boat is in the video. They are weird bass there when it comes to their habits but it has a lot of big bass..
