He’s pacey, has a good first touch, is willing to run the channels and his off ball movement is good. He has all the tools necessary to become an elite striker and the 70m is for the tools lol. If he can handle the mental pressure of being a 70m striker for United at 20 years old and keep developing we’ve got an absolute world class striker for the next decade on our hands. If he can’t cut it, he can still have a top class career at a Dortmund or Lyon, because we can resell him if (god forbid) the signing doesn’t work out as he’s 20 and not fucking 36. These are the type of signings we should be making, exciting young talents with world class potential

I would bring up vinicius junior to all the people saying he needs better finishing. Vini in his earlier years couldn't hit the ground if it weren't for gravity but over a few years at Madrid he kept improving and look how good he is now. This kid has some insane speed and strength. If he can do something similar and just improve year on year on his finishing he will end up being elite. I just hope people have realistic expectations for his first year or two.

Agree, but he already have improved. He will have games where he scores 2-3 goals I’m sure, but he also especially in the first season will have games where he struggles. Let’s hope the rest of the team is good enough to win the matches anyway.

been watching the EPL all my life. the more i watch this young man, the more he reminds me of Johan Elmander of Bolton (but with way more pace). Solid, strong built with the intelligence to find space. Hopefully ETH can guide him to become an elite striker!

Greenwood would compliment this player very well. Why? Greenwood is the only attacker we have capable of providing assists for other attackers. He sees a pass for other forwards and can finish his chances as well. Then there’s the 2 selfish starters we have on massive wages right now.

Greenwood's crossing is not at all good. What are you on about? He used to under-hit or overhit most of his crosses. Greenwood would be a great striker but not a RW. Let's give Antony one more season to prove himself but I don't have a lot of expectations from him. Rashford is useless. We should've sold him to PSG and gotten Kvaratskhelia or Mitoma.

He has pace & strength, but he doesn't win many aerial duels for his size & position, which is an issue for hold up play if its not to his feet. 100% has to work on his finishing with Benni, that has helped Rashford, so fingers crossed he starts to put 95% of those one on ones away & have a better final product

@@Oldheadontheblock Yeah I know what you mean about the crosses, he is actually ok at scoring headers weirdly, but I was referring to those long ball aerial duels that usually a big Number 9 win, that holds the ball up to bring other players in, him & Mount both don't have that unfortunately, obviously Teng knows this, that is why he is looking at 2 specific midfield additions (TCHOUAMÉNI or Soyfan Amrabat) that both have that skill as an A+

Are u now judging him by d highlights u just watched, that he don't win " aerial duels" for possible hold play..... IT IS ONLY AN INEXPERIENCE STRIKER THAT WILL HOLD UP PLAY IN HIS OPPONENT HALF.... That is d problem Martial is having now every good striker always stand as a treat to his opponent anytime.

Some of the misses in this video are clips from 1-2 years ago, and Højlunds finishing has improved since then. Also remember: 6 in 6 for Denmark last season, all in the EURO qualifiers.
