The owners need to be charged with neglect. They should not receive the dog back!

The owners probably tried to bathe him themselves and couldn’t. Some people don’t do research on their type of dog and don’t realize the amount of care some require - especially when it comes to grooming. I’m sure the owners fed him and took him for walks. He’s not an aggressive dog.

You all did a wonderful groom for this dog. I don't understand why the owners wanted the hair left in the eyes. The dog would love to be able to see his world without the confines of the hair in his eyes. God bless you both for grooming this matted dog.

The owners are a disgrace. If they felt he was too aggressive for a salon then they should groom him and keep him clean. He is so neglected, they do not deserve to have him. Thank you for your hard work and patience with him ❤

I agree. I have a small dog with a fear of going to the groomers so I decided to learn how to do it myself and it's been that way for the past 9 or so years. It works out for both of us. The owners of this dog had a lame excuse for extreme neglect

I learned how to groom our wire hair fox terrier. When I do this I feel great, knowing she is well taken care of. They are our babies, we need to treat them with love ❤️. I make her food also 😊

Exactly. Our dogs are ok at the groomers but prices have sky rocketed for goldendoodles because they take so long to groom so I bought $150 clippers for their hair type and nice groomer scissors and do it myself! All for the price of one grooming visit 🤦🏼‍♀️

Not only is the work you're doing saving the lives of these precious little angels, your video skills and editing skills are excellent. Also the skillful usage the of the drone. 👏 I hope and pray that you are able to make enough income from KZfaq to pay the bills, continue doing the work that you're doing and have enough left over to survive. You are providing a true "life or death" service for some of these animals. I don't think everybody realizes that. I do. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

I’m not surprised he was thought to be aggressive, because those large mats would have been awful sore pulling on his skin. Poor boy. Glad to see you cared, where others didn’t. What a lovely good boy.

Your calm,confident manner reassured the dog, and he settled down beautifully….love your gentle approach! Wish the owner had opted for the head to be shaved too….it looks out of balance, but they may change their mind… great effort you two!!! ❤️🐕😊🌈🦋

In my opinion if a dog is allowed to get into this sort of condition then the owners should have very little say in how these beautiful people shave his poor little body, poor excuse that they think he was too aggressive to be groomed, I’d be aggressive too if I was allowed to get that bad. Bless your hearts for sorting the gorgeous boy out. 👍🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕

He is lovely just never experienced grooming ( the state of his coat says... I am neglected). His ear hair matched his tail hair.... Long matted n dirty. He would love the scrubbing bit of the bath, his skin would be itchy. It's so nice to see his skin. He looks as if he has irritated skin in places. Personally I would have taken all that hair from his face and head, all his hair would grow at the same rate..... Its lovely to see his face and beautiful eyes.. Thank you for helping him, Thank you for sharing him with us. Your kindness and patience is fantastic.

He looks so clean and trim! Lovely for him!! I think an inch or so off all that long hanging facial hair would have helped quite a bit too. One thing l’ve noticed in several of your trims- it looks like your scissors would cut much easier if you would have them sharpened every month! Or more often if needed. If that puts a hardship on you, please invest in two or three more pair so you can always have clean, newly sharpened scissors in your drawer. Great job and keep up the good work!

He looks so much more comfortable. You are so good with dogs too. He understood you were not going to hurt him but still a bit scared. He will know next time but it’s hard to get a dog to like a bath if they don’t already like it. I’ve been in veterinary medicine for 30+ years and I’m very impressed with your skills. ❤

The owners said he was aggressive just as an excuse for not caring for him. They neglected him for so long that the matting must have been so uncomfortable. He had all those ticks on him so I wonder if the owners kept him outside. Too bad they're returning him to this owner. The better question would have been " Would you let us find him another home?" We will make sure he is well taken care of. The poor dog will continue to be neglected if he stays with this owner. I wonder how this terrific groomer found out about this dog and offered her services.

Next time you have trouble with any dog who doesn't like showers or baths, try using the water hose without the attached nozzle. Some dogs don't like the noise or the pressure. Bless you and your husband for your kindness to these animals. Perhaps you are the first to take steps to help these animals in your country.
