Love the names ❤️ I’m so jealous of those who will get to meet you! My husband is in the army and is stationed in Missouri, so I lived there temporarily. He just got sent out to Germany so I left the state to be with my family for the next few months until he gets back .Maybe another day in life !

I was the same when I first found their channel. I can't get enough of this amazing family. I'm not even interesting in homesteading and farming and what not. I'm a city girl through and through, but this wonderful family just draws me in with their educational and wholesome videos. Surely you can keep emus in trios? They’re social type birds so I’d be very surprised if you couldn’t. And since they’re grown up together from being young I would have thought they would rather live as that family group. Just some advice and thoughts really on it. I know people with emu and they have several and all get along fine and aren’t paired

Emus are usually solitary because they roam around looking for food but they can live in small flocks if they are fed well and get along. If they start getting aggressive with each other then move them. Also they usually find a single mate so having 2 male and one female or 1 male and 2 females could cause fighting. Also incubation, raising the chicks is done by the males so not sure if the other female would try and destroy the young ones or eggs, although they are eating them. They should also improve their fencing as the emus could possibly jump those eventually

I love emus, we saw some a while ago and I believe they were pairs and they put on a show for us running up and down it was so hilarious to watch! So glad bamboo turned out to be a boy! :)

Hello, I've been following your channel for some time and I've learned several things with you. My goal is one day to become self sufficient not to become dependent on markets. I began a relatively short time with a garniza (here in Portugal it is widely used as a natural incubator), a laying hen and a female rabbit. With the garniza already I took 6 chicks and enough eggs with the laying hen. I also took two creations with the rabbit and kept some of the rabbits to increase production :) I have a small channel but I speak in Portuguese. I understand English but speaking or writing is more complicated :) Thanks for the videos and a big hug here from Portugal. Miguel Silva.
