Jinja is the best planned City in Uganda. Colonialists planned it in such a way that the areas right close to the bridge were 'rich people ' settlements and the Indians settled around the CBD. Right now most of those buildings aren't owned by Indians. They were sold off to Ugandans.

Hello this is Geofrey from UAE, I love the tour of my home town, it's been so amazing. The only issue I would advise salla is to make prior study of an area before touring it especially that She says she's from Jinja she was expected to know a good number of street names and important landmarks that Jinja has. I pray that next time you make a tour of this place you invite me coz at least I know 90%of the streets and locations and some history behind the town. Thank you

The building that she said was built in 1919 was actually the first 2 storey building in Jinja and was built by madhavanis and currently owned by them. If most buildings are owned by Indians then there must be an economic reason for that. They are good business people and work hard and reinvest their profits. Nobody is given anything for free. In Amerikka we have experienced what happened when the Asians set up shop in black areas. They turn as soon as they had made enuf dollars . Their have been instances when the Chinese have assaulted black women or accused black ppl of stealing while shopping in their stores. Don’t be Fooled’ by the BS. Several Asian owned black nail salons have used biased towards blacks. Personally I don’t deal with these thugs. I buy ‘ Black’ n get my nails done in black owned salons. They call black ppl all sorts of names ‘ monkeys ‘ and other derogatory terms. They r not our friends! You guys should boycott their businesses! India and China r over populated and they find Africa as being a soft target place to land and conquer. Watch pretty soon if you guys don’t wake up they will try to control Uganda!
