As a tip to a new crafters: any time you add ribbon, paper, any material as done in this instruction, always cut the ribbon first. Measure how long ribbon is needed. then add a little extra on the ends. Then measure how wide the area being covered with the ribbon is. After use just one edge of the ribbon to have clean, crisp seam. Then use a knife and cutting mat to cut needed width of ribbon. By doing that there would still remain a long narrower piece of ribbon for next project. If we buy stuff from D T because we want to save money it is wise to save also by using materials just as much as needed.

I was looking at a video recently and the person cut an extremely long piece of rope and then once she formed what she wanted she cut off the excess....I was screaming at her.

I absolutely love silver and gold mixes and a lot of people are afraid to do it. I love those two pieces you just posted they are gorgeous and I would love to make those for my tables when I go out to vend!
