I have to tell you a funny!! I absolutely LOVE A THIS PROJECT! I recently did this only around a balloon to make an Easter basket for my grandson. I went all out on my supplies and everything to go onto this awesome basket I was making him! I even went on line and found these 75inch balloons so that I didn't have to blow up a smaller balloon really large and test its limits and possibly ruin my project. Anyway.... of course I procrastinated this project and waited till the night before Easter causing me to be up making it till 4:30 am. It took forever because I had just made it to large. But about noon on Easter Sunday, I went to finish it knowing it had enough time to fully dry. So I went to the balloon and popped it so all the air would go out just leaving me this adorable little egg shaped basket. Well..... WOULDN'T YOU KNOW IT.... even though I watered down the glue..... when I popped that big ole balloon and the air started to deflate...... EVERY SINGLE LAST BIT OF MY STRING DEFLATED WITH IT..... I HAD THE MOST AMAZING UPFRONT VIEW OF MY HOURS OF WORK JUST SHRIVELING UP INTO A TINY LITTLE BALL STUCK TO MY AMAZING BALLOON THAT I SPECIAL ORDERED TO HAVE MY BASKET COME OUT THE EXACT RIGHT SIZE! I wanted to cry so badly. But I just stood there laughing at myself because it was my fault leaving it till the last minute. Had I not been in such a hurry, I would have noticed my glue needed more water and was just way too thick and that it more than likely would stick to my balloon way too well!!! BOY..... WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! LOL!! YOUR PROJECT TURNED OUT SO MUCH BETTER THAN MINE! LOL!!! Thanks for sharing ANOTHER amazing video!!! You know what ive always thought would go so well with this gorgeous box that you made?? Would be to make either 3 or 5. Then using either cardboard or would to make a floor lamp using your boxes for the lamp shades. I think this would just be absolutely STUNNING!! ESPECIALLY IN ALL WHITE!!!

ŞAHANE olmuş.Bu teknikle koli,karton,mukavvaları istediğimiz şekilde kesip üstüne bu tekniği uygulayıp şahane ürünler ortaya çıkarabiliriz.Mesela çam ağacı şeklinde iki adet kartonu kesip iç içe geçirip,iple bu şekil sararak üç boyutlu çam ağacı elde edebiliriz.Ağacı ister yeşile,ister gümüş,gold boyayıp şahane bir yılbaşı ağacı elde edebiliriz.Dikdörtgen bir kartona sararak duvara sanatsal bir tablo niyetine bile asabiliriz.Çok ürün çıkar bu fikirle ... 👍🌜🪐🌻

Teşekkür ederim Engin bey. Bu tekniği Çinliler sır gibi saklıyorlar. Ben yıllar önce ışık topu yapıp satmaya başladığımda düşüne düşüne buldum bu yolu. Ve şimdi Türkiye'de bu teknikle ışık topu yapıp satan o kadar çok insan var ki... Aynı teknikle dediğiniz gibi her türden şablon üzerine farklı pek çok şey yapılabilir. Hayal gücü sınırsız olanlar bunu çok başka noktalara taşıyabilirler

A fun and useful idea! Set it up and watch television or a movie as you wind. It can be done with many shapes for many purposes. Balloons, cones, rolls, etc.

This technique can be used to make many beautiful projects . I think a hanging chandelier with 5 or 7 small boxes would look incredible over my dining table. I'm thinking it would look great using jute twine! Thank you for your inspiration.

I love your ingenuity to for putting glue on the string. For a a chandelier I would do it as you did here, but I’d like to see a collapsible gift box for easy Christmas storage. I think ribbon could be sown or glued around the panels so it will collapse like a box and the two end pieces can fold in and attach with Velcro. Cutting the string box into separate panels would save the cardboard box since it wouldn’t be ripped out. You could use your version as a storage container within a box of Christmas things so maybe my ideas isn’t worth it. Now I’m not sure. 😄

Devra, you're so smart. I understand what you are talking about. And my brain is currently working at full capacity to make collapsible boxes with this technique 😅. Don't be surprised if you see me posting a video like this next month. If I manage to do this, I will definitely write that you gave the idea in my video. Thank you very much honey 💖💖💖💖

As an artist myself I would like to add -- Never Ever allow yourself to be second- thought. If someone has a better way, let them do it and show you. Otherwise they are just souch noise ❣️
