4 жыл бұрынYou won't believe the night fishing on this pier, we catch so many slot and above slot speckled or spotted trout. There are dozens that lurk just beyond the light, in the shadow line. Chris and I threw the cast net earlier in the day and caught the perfect size shad, finger mullet, and shrimp. We freelined for the hour that we fished. Chris threw various artificial lures. I highly recommend you reserve this pier if you are down near Arroyo city.

If you haven't tried Arlene Gonzales pier there at the arroyo I highly recommend it. Always bait in cast net range. Have caught multiple 23+ trout, slot reds, a few slot snook, a few 30+ inch drums, and a few 20" sheeps. Never know what you're gonna get but it's always a good night!

That waterway is loaded with those shad. I would rather use them over shrimp anytime. Another nice Arroyo City episode. Thanks.👍

You are correct but there aren't too many piers or docks that will allow you to catch limits of specs in an hour with many being over 24 inches.

Arroyo city tx. Capt Andy owns it with O-fish-al charters. I've fished it and it was amazing. Blowups all night long

Dam bro how long are you going to be in the valley for ?? You should definitely try ernest cisneros wade fishing. Best wade experience and he targets snook and monster trout as well
