Day of Dragons could be shaping up to be the Dragon survival game of 2023 when it's in our hands. Each month they ask us to come back and see what they've been working on and each month they impress. I hope you're all getting goosebumps like me 😆

i wonder if the devs would consider extending the wing membranes further down the dragon's bodies. it would make it a lot more believable for them to fly than with the current spoon wings.

Wonder if the devs would add more land dragons. Because a concept of a little winged, big, and armoured dragon in DoD would be cool.

The Blitz Striker looks a lot like the Skrill from how to train your dragon. Edit: Know that I realize it, the inferno ravager looks like the Monstrous Nightmare from HTTYD. The special ability is way like that, wich begs the question. Will we have new types of flame types. For example like a lickid like flame breathe that some dragons have?

The Blitzstriker’s roar and threaten has a thunderous sound at the end, like an actual thunderstorm or a distant explosion. It would be badass if you could hear the Blitzstriker’s thunder from a long distance away after it roars/threatens.

I feel the biodragons’s threaten should have it open its wings up to make it seem larger, as well as show off the eye-like patterns on its wings. It’d actually be extremely realistic, since several birds and insects do it in real life (especially butterflies and tropical birds, and peacocks)

All that drama back in the day about this game being a scam almost made me not buy it but after seeing more videos that you’ve done on it I bought it and it’s actually a fun game.

I can tell the developer team loves this game alot. Especially the Admin showcasing off the blitstrikers storm ability!

I'm honestly really happy with Day Of Dragons so far, it had a monumentally bad start but it's shaping up into something I'd probably play daily instead of monthly! So proud of all the progress being made!

I love how they’re seemingly taking inspiration from httyd, the storm caller is obviously a skrill, and the inferno ravager is a monstrous nightmare, and there’s others that seem very similar to others

I’d like to see eclipses implemented into the game. They’d be surprisingly common due to the relative size of the moon compared to the sun (it would completely block the entirety of the sun’s light). They’d do virtually nothing except make the nights almost completely pitch dark… unless you are some sort of new dragon. I am thinking they add another wyvern, or make an oriental dragon (which sounds cooler), that absolutely thrives and dominates during solar eclipses. Something like the “Eclipse Roamer” or “Eclipse Emperor” sounds cool. It could see during a solar eclipse (in shades of grey, but other species can’t see at all, or at least not far of they have some sort of glowing part of their body, so it’s still a massive advantage), and it gains a breath-attack unlike any other dragon: it shoots an extremely bright, large beam. It’s basically a hyperbeam from Pokémon. It can only use this attack during the occasional eclipse. Outside of eclipses, it uses a similar but much weaker version of the giant death laser. It does become _ever so slightly_ stronger on new moon nights, but it’s barely noticeable.

Im so happy Day of Dragons is actually starting to make progress. It feels like only yesterday when I was let down with the news about the drama, but now everything has changed and DOD is beginning to meet expectations.

i rlly loved the blitz . friendly call has to be my ultimate fave because how it does that weird noise mixed with electricity . always love watching your videos when it comes to day of dragons and was fun hanging with u on the livestream also in the part where i said ' this is a dream come true ' it was indeed a dream come true playing as a wyvern here lol . the leuc zygovo was adorable

This dragon called the blitz striker reminds me of the skrill over how it’s power is as well as being able to control electricity and being able to entirely blend in with the storm like the skrill does

The Blitz Striker looks identical to the Skrill from How to Train Your Dagon. And also has the same lighting ability. Not trying to say anything bad I actually love this new dragon. Now if they were to create an awesome lighting attack ability and animation like the one the skrill has in HTYD that would be epic.

OMG. THE SAND. If you move the camera angle to get a good look at the sand, you can see little bits of it blowing in the wind, which is how it works in real-life dunes! :D And they even have Amphithere?! Amphithere are some of my FAVORITE dragons, and they're so underrepresented so often, even by people who love dragons! I'm so glad they're adding them in! I love the scale texture!! The way the light shines off it is just AMAZING! :D Are you gonna be able to divebomb to go faster?? It's a technique a lot of sharks use (tilting downward to let gravity grant them extra speed), and I think Great Whites actually dive bomb to incredible depths to win mates, so that would be a really cool mechanic to see added in here! :D The attention to detail, too! I love how the Blitzstriker puts it's little claw over its snoot! :D This very much feels like the sort of thing where one person would be like "This is perfect, and there's nothing to improve upon" but the creator is like "Actually I'm still working on it." and then fix things nobody noticed was a problem XD I LOVE the bio dragon! The colors are astounding! :D

Pretty impressed how far the game has come, the part with the rain effects are actually so much better than I’ve seen in lot of games, along with the blitz striker genuinly impressed me!

Anyone else think that the blitz and the inferno ravaged look like their extremely influenced by how to train your dragon? The blitz is like a realistic looking skrill with the lightning ability in storms and the inferno ravaged with its full body flame is exactly like the monstrous nightmare and I swear they already have a dragon that looks like a night fury. I’m excited to play them tbh coz I’m a huge Httyd fan.

The thunderstorm call thunder could definitely use some work, just upgrade the lightning to look on the same level as the ones striking straight from the storm and also change that flat light texture, or make it so you can't see it's flat during flight, otherwise it's really cool.

This looks amazing! I really want to play this now. I'm honestly kind of surprised there hasn't been more games like this. I mean I've seen a few, but they are usually no where near this. So excited!

those weathers look great, i hope they don't change the visibility level from what it is here, really makes it impactful (something other games tend to lack in their own weather effects)

I’ve taken a break from DoD but recently gotten back into it and holy moly things changed! This is insane. The new dragons look really good already!

I am just imagining a black dragon just as walking natural disaster when fully grown but takes a long time to reach it's apex.

I hope the devs create a Lindwurm/Wyrm as a playable variant of the Sandworm. Utilizing slithering under the sand or water without a sound, then ambushing.

with the blitz I was kinda thinking that maybe it wouldn't need to land slowly, like it could go straight into a fast slither supported by its wings/hands for a period of time, plus the added speed ties in with lightning.

I really want them to add like a water dragon that can spit out water blinding the enemies eyes or a drag ability like the swamp snapper that'd be really cool.

I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for these day of dragons videos, as a player of the game seeing you play it makes me play the game right after. Can't wait for your next videos on this game and The Isle.

Really glad this game came back around after it's bad start. I'm just hoping they add more critters for the adult dragons to eat

So many ideas come to mind when thinking of mechanics, this game has incredible potential!

I feel like they took so much inspiration from how to train your dragon for these news ones which is great! Like the first one is kinda like the Skrill and he second is like a monstrous nightmare

Only think that i think could be a bit better is the weight behind the inferno ravangers run, like it’s cool but it would be even better if it had a bit more weight, not like such lights tap taps

Amphitheres are my favorite species of Dragon, but one thing that would make it better is if it had feathers, though that is a lot of animating.

It's a distinction without a difference. All wyverns are dragons, but not all dragons are wyverns. Just like all Harley-Davidsons are motorcycles but not all motorcycpes are Harleys.

what would be really cool is that if you did a certain call you could produce highly dangerous electricity around you, probably 15-25 ft around you, stunning and flash blinding those around you as a defensive move! hopefully they take some of the idea and use it, but this is really cool

What is there to actually DO in this game though? It it still just... fly around a mostly empty world and occasionally fight a creature? Has anything been added like... quests or objectives? Or is it still just... stay alive until you're an adult, run around.... fight a mob once in a while.... ?

I like how the wings not fully folded when it's on the ground and how it's moves on land but can't help it to see it's a wyvern without it's legs, maybe because I'm so used seeing amphithere design that looked like a simplified version of quetzalcoatl hahah

Excuse the local dragon nerd here, but i have to get this off my chest: The Blitz Striker is a Wyrm, not a Dragon. Dragons are quadrapedel in nature, that boy is legless, making him a serpentine Wyrm, which is a draconic subspecies called the Ampithere. Not saying it's not an absolute badass of an aerial predator, my OCD and Dragon obsession just wouldn't let it lie. Also, Behemoth is an oversized Drake; pretty much a wingless Dragon. Usually supposed to be much smaller and therefore easier to deal with, however, that big boy lives up to the name.

this game is looking more and more stunning! i have taken a step back from the game for now but always looking for what they are working on next. every reveal shows how much the dev team has put into this project

They should add a hoarding feature, where you can collect gold and Little trinkets and build up your hoard, and The hoard can give you buffs depending on its size

So they added a skrill and a monstrous nightmare... and they already had a night fury. What's next...a screaming death? How about a death gripper? Just a bunch of httyd dragons.

Kinda wish the Blitz Striker would move across the ground with its wings working as arms rather than it just having them lifted up.

Glad to see some kind of progress being made, almost gave up on this game.

The thunderstorm effects look great in UE5. I’d love to see these kinds of clouds and atmosphere in a game like War Thunder. The flight animations look really good as well. They really capture the way the wings would interact with the air. I’d love to see them take that further and introduce particle effects for the air currents caused by the creatures when flying near the ground or in clouds.
