Aparna is a teenage girl who lives with her mother in rural Sri Lanka. Despite being smart at all school subjects, Aparna has a passion for the building and construction industry, which she got to interact thanks to her uncle who is a mason. Aparna's mother is averse to Aparna's construction obsession and urges her to be a doctor or a teacher. Mihira, Thanshila, and Biso who are Aparna's friends from the village have their own socio-cultural issues about their futures and career options. A supportive teacher at school introduces them to career guidance. The story is about how the teenage friends overcome the socio-cultural barriers and commit to sorting their futures.

One of the most significant short movies I've ever seen. These kind of films inspire you to be better, to achieve the unattainable, and to stay focused since nothing is impossible if you put your heart, soul, and mind to it. This is such an important message to Sri Lankan youth. It goes to show how one person's transformation can have ripple effects on others, catapulting positive change in society. I think this video should be shown in schools. It's high time we break gender stereotypes, perceived restraints and playing small.

This is indeed a motivational movie. I loved the characters of both the mother and the daughter, the different aspirations of the the two generations stemming from their own ideologies. You kind of understand their different aspirations. Sri Lankan culture is well depicted through the mother and the teachers. I am glad to see the younger generation breaking barriers and challenging stereotypical gender roles so alive in Sri Lanka. Loved the background scenery. i am glad you brought out the importance of career guidance.

wow what a wonderful motivational video. We need to create more videos like this and share to many to watch and get motivated. I have seen in Many Srilankan they have the skills but always they need motivation by someone like a vine toy. Thank you team for this beautiful video . also all those characters acted very nicely.
