It takes a lot of balls to attempt this song. You guys nailed it!!! It sounds so immediate and fresh! This is the best Bowie cover I've had the pleasure of hearing. In my heart, I am totally those 2 dancing girls.

This is absolutely brilliant.Tears of joy rolling down my cheeks.The rhythm is phenomenal.The vocals including the backing singers are great!This just blew me away.Bowie's best song.It takes a brave person to attempt this.John from England

Found this song by accident. Was thinking to myself it would be cool to cover "young american" by David bowie but with a soulful feel to it with an acoustic guitar. Well a simple Google search later and I've found my answer. Love the Melodica in this as well! Def an overlooked and underappreciated instrument. Well you guys have gained a new fan! Keep up the good work !

I cant stop watching it ;) I Fu**ing love it. As a lifelong Bowie fan this is the best acoustic version of this track i have heard on YT. I run an open mic (The Great Unsigned) in the UK and i would give anything for you guys to play. I also host a Radio show here and this is going out on the Bowie special. well done Lads and lasses.

Absolutely powerhouse rendition of an already phenomenal song. Well done for taking one of Bowie's finest and making it shine as much as the original. You truly did it more than justice. Also, this might just be the most 'feel-good' video on youtube. The out takes are so very heartwarming.

One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite records, This version impressed.me and my ten year old daughter so much. Just lovely. Bought the original around 75 on cassette. Big Bowie fan much of my life but life has been very busy. Just picking up guitar again and learning this. Just wish I was one of those kids.

I've followed Bowie since the ziggy days and this is the best cover of all his songs appart from Mott The Hoople cover of 'All the Young Dudes' second isn't bad though :)

Heard the Bowie original on the radio today and it struck me that his soul phase [or cocaine period]actually produced his best and and most enduring song in Young Americans.Also struck me that it would make a fantastic acoustic /unplugged tune so went searching . Glad I did what a version !What music is all about ,keeping it real . 10/10
