because of the movie this reminds me of the great gatsby, a book that I was studying when I was 17 years old. at that age, I had this friend I was very very close to. maybe I even liked them more than I will ever admit to anyone and 3 years later, I am still friends with them but nowhere near as close as I was. at that age, no one made me happier than them and I would do anything for them. on some days today, i would like to think I'm healing from whatever that friendship was but other days like today it makes me hurt so bad that we slowly drifted. it hurts but I try to look for that feeling of gratefulness that I ever met someone like that who made me feel happy
