One of the most inspiring videos of 2022 with people who represent the Future of watchmaking. What a pleasure it was to talk to them and to learn how these young, bold, and independent watchmakers see their lifelong passion, what timepieces they are planning to bring to the market in 2023, and what are the biggest challenges they face in their chosen profession.

Great video! Many valid points for me personally as a collector of independent watches. The whole experience of acquiering the piece, meeting the watchmaker and similar minded collectors, discussing details about the project etc. is what it's all about. The watches are just one part of it. Buying from a brand just makes no sense to me anymore when you have guys like these and several others to choose from.❤

Really interesting to see a group of watchmakers talking about their trade. Insight into a world that normally outsiders never get to experience. I have had a busy day so watched this video with a friend and a glass of wine so made the experience better watching people who are talking about their craft while drinking wine. The girl who was watching it with me is not into watches but she found it really interesting.

Très intéressante discussion! En tout cas, j’ai mes montres pour moi, pas pour revendre ou spéculer. Mais il faut avouer que lorsque une montre monte en reconnaissance publique, ça se reflète aussi sur le prix, par fois, et ça fait du bien à l’ego 😂

What a fantastic informative video you've put together Marc André. I hope you can get this group together again in the future, or regularly as you suggest, to update us on how they are doing. Whether the independents will be reduced to only 8 as they joked or perhaps expand to 18 as newer horologists join them. Thanks again for this video!

Who is there for young independent women horologists? Fiona Kruger maybe? But she's not a horologist, she's a designer that outsources everything to do with manufacturing (and arguably the Mexican skull designs too). I can't think of any up and coming woman that is an independent watch manufacturer.

Si Mr Pages voit ce message, j'ai vu son premier automate tortue au Ambassadeurs il y a 12 ans a Genève. 600k pour une tortue qui ce déplace sur 10 cms. Heureux que vous fassiez vos montres maintenant..
